Good morning DISers,
Forgive me if this thread has been created before, but I couldn't find anything about it. A lot of us plan a year out for our Disney vacations. How does this reflect on this Disney site? I can't seem to find the May 2017 date. Do I need to call? Anyone had experience planning over the phone? Also, do they offer payment plans? We could just pay up front but want to keep our options open. Thanks in advance!

2017 packages won't be out until around July so you won't be able to get any pricing for that just yet. You can always book a room only reservation up to 499 days out. They base it off of this year's room prices but if you are going to want to book a package, you'll have to cancel that. So there really is no point of doing that if you're not wanting just a room only.
Regarding payments, when you book a package, a $200 deposit is due at booking and you have up until 30 days out to pay it off. So you'll be able to pay as much as you'd like over the course of that time period. A room only reservation requires a deposit equal to one nights stay and the rest is due at check in. You can call and pay on this before you check in too.
