planning a trip for 2012

i plan to stay a vacation rental cause i want to go to other places besides disney
how is the weather in the fall
maybe for halloween or after thanksgiving

October can be very nice possible even hot. November can be cooler but still all right. Summer will no doubt be extra busy because of DCA having completed the park's revamping and the grand opening of Carsland.

Lower Crowds?
Warmer Temperatures?
Cooler Temperatures?
More rides in operation?
Less chance of rain?
Entertainment frequency higher?
Cheaper?

There are days in October which will be more crowded than a typical summer day, and some that will be less. So it depends. The HalloweenTime event is drawing more and more people very year.

Summer will definitely have maximum rides operating and maximum show schedule. It will also be warmer - although October can be hot too. Check the link above.

well last time i was there was july 2009
i stayed in venice beach
i was there july 1 to july 6
i went to dl on july 4 it was crowded but the temp was great
what month has less rain
i can deal with heat i dont want to have a really rainy vacation
is carsland suppose open in july or august
i may want to wait till the fall since it is suppose open in the summer
but are the water parks in california open year round

I wouldn't try to plan your trip around weather... its great 90% of the time. Even in the rain amusement parks can be fun and the shorter lines mean you can do more before drying off and having something hot to drink.

It usually isn't that cold even when it is raining... get the most out of your time... avoid the busy times.
