I may be posting in the wrong place, if so, sorry!! ....

Ok, last time I visited I had annual passes so now I've got to think the ticket thing through....

How long after I purchase tickets do I have to upgrade them? Is it end of use on the day it expires? The kids are going on a short trip, then a longer one with us later and I'm trying to figure out what to do w/ my tickets (the no expire option). I'm thinking I should just suck it up and get them because I don't want to get stuck with higher ticket prices down the road.

Also, I'll be staying at a Good Neighbor Resort (Wyndham Bonnet Creek). I know they have park transportation, but I really prefer to drive to the parks - but I don't want to pay $12 for parking. Do "Good Neighbor" resorts get a parking placard for free parking?

We'll be traveling in October and plan to go to the Halloween party. Any idea when the dates and ticket prices will be released for the Halloween party? Last year, we went on a Friday night because we were just down for a long weekend. This year, we'll be there the week of Halloween and will have to go when available. We'll be arriving on Sunday and I'm hoping they'll have one that night as the way we start our week. Do you think prices will increase much from last year?

Lastly....we'll also be there on my birthday (yay!) I've already registered my birthday and already have tickets, so I know of my options of other "gifts". I leaning toward the gift card, but can anyone tell me - is it accepted at most merchants on property? And is it REALLY only good on your birthday? I know your bday admission ticket can be picked up early. Can your gift card be picked up early as well, if it's only valid on that date?

Thanks for any input!

Hello :)

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your questions but if you break them up into a couple of posts and repost them in other areas of the Trip Planning Forums (Budget Boards, Disney tips etc) you'll be more likely to get answers.

I hope this helps and welcome to the Disboards! :goodvibes

Plenty of info overload in here, not sure on the answers but someone in here will know............

Welcome to DISboards. About the tickets, correct me if I'm wrong because I think you can upgrade it for free.

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)
