I need everyone's help. I'm moving from Long Island to Georgia in a few weeks. The school schedule is different than what I am used to. Georgia ends right before Memorial Day as opposed to end of June here. Since my son will be starting Jr. High, I don't want to take him out of school for our WDW trip. So, how are the crowds right after Memorial Day? I was thinking an early June trip might beat the crowds? How is the weather? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

We did the first week in June this year. I didn't think the crowds were bad at Epcot, MGM or Animal Kingdom although you should use FastPass whenever possible. Magic Kingdom was terribly crowded on the day we went. At the end of the day, we were ready to not go back again although I have changed my mind about that now. It was unusually hot the first week in June according to CM's I talked to. We enjoyed it though. When we go again in a few years, I'm sure we will go at the same time as I don't want to take the kids out of school and I can't take vacation in July and August.

Depending on what county you are in, Georgia schools get out either the Friday before Memorial Day or the Friday before that. This year, kids in my area got out May 21. If that is the case for you, the week before Memorial Day would be perfect.
