I'm going to be visiting the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and MGM with my 2 boys of 2 and 6 years old and my mom. I can spent 1 day at each park. I have been looking for some ideas of where to go in the parcs, but I didn't really find a lot yet!

Could anyone tell me where to start in the parcs and what things we really have to see!! It would be great to have a schedule to go by, so we're not waisting time standing around everywhere!
(Not everything has to be suitable for the 2 year old, because he can just run around with me or my mom occasionally)

Thanks in advance!!

There is a lot to take in here! My first suggestions is to get a guidebook - my preference is the Unofficial Guide by Bob Sehlinger. If you're only concerned about kids then he's written one dedicated to them (and he has touring plans of the parks that might suit you)! Also consider Birnbaum's Disney with kids.

My advice for youngsters:

At MK Fantasyland is the place to start - there are some great rides there for kids (and kids at heart) and the lines can get very long by 10am. Try Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan's Magic flight (ride them in that order). You also have to do Toon Town Fair - you and your kids can meet the characters and ride a mini roller coaster (again long queues can persist all day).

MGM and AK are a bit less obvious so get the guidebooks and see what you think. I think the Kilimanjaro Safari is the way to start any day at AK and the Boneyard is fun for kids (they get to dig up bones). Dinorama is a funfair which kids like more than adults while Camp Minnie Mickey has more Disney characters. At MGM there is a kids stage show.

With little ones make sure you get plenty of rest - the parks are big and the weather can be intense!

So much more info but its all out there!!!
