Iam starting to plan for a 2006 trip. I thinking of going in Nov of 2006. Can someone tell me what the weather is like? what are the crowed like over holloween and the week after? Also when do the Christmas stuff start geeting put up? I would like to go the week after Thanksgiving to make sure I could see the lights but My mom can not get off from Thanksgiving to after Christmas from work.
Also what is the diffance between the All star movies and Pop. I will be staying at the Pop Century in May of this year. I would like to try a diffearant resort and go to a moderate but the $$ might hold me back to a vaule.

In 2003 I went the first week of Nov (and last week of Oct) and it was pretty warm. Mid 80's most days w/ lows in the lower 60's. It was NOT sunny though. Warm, humid, and overcast. We didn't see too much rain. Some spotty rain here and there.

The crowd levels were wonderful. Avoid MGM soap weekend if possible. Other than that-- not bad at all. Don't let Jersey week discourage you either. It isn't as bad as people may report.

The holiday decorations will not go up until right at Thanksgiving. So they won't be up for early November yet.

I too have gone during the last week on October and the first week of November and I experiences the 80's during the day but not the 60's thing. I guess we got lucky with the weather a couple of times. I know I went during the first week of December and they had a heat wave that year and I was in shorts the whole time, both day and night... perfect weather.

I guess you can say you are going to get the 80 degree day weather and be ready for cooler weather in the evenings, just in case...

I've been there in October and found it very nice and bet November is much the same. If going around Haloween, you might want to try Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - a separate ticketd event that's supposed to be great. Most kids are in school, so the crowds should be low. Pop Century is located by Wide World of Sports, while ASM is by AK. Pop is newer, but aside from that, it's the difference between a giant Buzz and a giant Roger Rabbit.

You might want to puruse the DVC rental boards here - for a weekday stay at that time of year, you might be able to rent a DVC room for the price of a moderate (higher on weekends, though).
