Planning 1st trip to DL for Nov. 2008! Any Tips?

Hi everyone-
We are finally planning a trip to visit DisneyLand in November! We have been to WDW many, many times, but everything DL is totally new to me. Does anyone have any general tips about things that are must-sees, or restaurants that we shouldn't miss? Also, when do the Christmas decorations around the parks and on the rides go up? We are planning on being there during the second week of November. Any tips or info would be great! Thanks in advance.
