We have an idea on where we want to go but we need to find out if we transfer next summer our not. then we can decide when we can go.

I am not sure of the exact date...but I thought I heard sometime in July. So what adrs has everyone picked out so far??

We are trying a few new places and a some favorites...so far I have

Liberty Tree Tavern - new

Still need four more...but I have time

Sci-Fi (Nothing says food like a classic movie)

Luau (we are going for the alcohol in a coconut, j/k!!!)

We have officially picked our date., We will be heading to the AKL on February2 -9. We will also be doing the DVC tour while we are there.

This is totally a surprise trip. Samuel is waiting for Mickey to call him and let him know that it is his "turn" to go visit him. I had to tell him something, or I would have him asking EVERYDAY if it was time to go back to "Micky's House."

Disneygirl, you can absolutely join us and pretend you are going in 2008. In the past month, I've had so many people tell me that I should be vacationing elsewhere, and at first it was somewhat intimidating. Now I tell them there is no other place, unless they are paying and even then I want to go back to Disney.

We're also heading back to WDW! Leaving Nov. 22- coming back on either th 29th or 30th! DD2 will turn 13 then and long story short, she picked WDW to spend it in. We've trained her well..

We are thinking of staying at the family suites at ASMU. Or getting two rooms at POP. Waiting to hear from extended family to see if they want to go to.

How soon can we make reservations?

P.S. If anyone is suffering from post Disney trip blues, planning another trip will snap you out of it! It worked for me!!

The new packages will be out in July or Aug. Last year it was Aug and I think the year before that was July. So it will be inbetween those 2 months.

We're also heading back to WDW! Leaving Nov. 22- coming back on either th 29th or 30th! DD2 will turn 13 then and long story short, she picked WDW to spend it in. We've trained her well..

It would be nice if they offered free dining in April and May.

Great thread!! I'm so excited to see something with 2008 in the title! We just went to WDW in Feb of this year. I am already trying desperately to plan our next trip which will be Mid-February 2008!! Any news on when the rates will be out?? I thought it was June 1st for resort only but it's not working on the website. Not sure yet if we will go that route then add the package later or just wait for package rates to come out and book everything then. Anyhoo......I'm just SO EXCITED!!!

Dont know about room only rates but packages should be out in July or August. As for the 2008 theme theres rumors that the YOAMD will continue through 2008. Disney will NOT be celebrating Epcot's 25th anniversary in October.

August puts us at the seven month mark for the trip.

I have rooms booked at SSR (my home resort) but I want to move the reservation to OKW at the seven month mark which is August 8th for us.

I can't wait since we are meeting up with friends for this trip...I love doing Disney with a group.

My mom, my sister, my daughter & I will be celebrating my mom's 70th birthday 3/29-4/5 at the Contemporary! As an added bonus, our local high school band from Mesick, Michigan will be marching in the Magic Kingdom parade!
