I type with 2 fingers cause that's all I've got!!!! I dictate some of it to Aunt Shell when she's not that busy... but she's trying to figure out how to pack all my stuff in just 2 suicases... they said that they had to use the other ones...

Wherever I travel, I like to see the local sights.

Here in Glenville they have the local NY Air National Guard… The 109th Air Wing… the Snowbirds… Want to know why they call them that???? Cause they are the only crew in the whole wide world that can fly to the South Pole… Usually they supply the science station at the polar research sites. They are also the ones who went in to rescue the Doctor who had breast cancer. AND they are the crew who took Ann Curry of the Today show to Antarctica and Matt Lauer to Greenland…

Lately the have been training to return to Afghanistan as support troops.

They are based at Stratton ANG Base… Here I am with one of their planes that fly with skis…

They practice their touch and go landings… & they can CERTAINLY FLY LOW!!!! We were on the way to the mall the other day and as we were passing the end of the runway, that sucker buzzed us real good. EVER SEE THE BOTTOM OF A C130??? I did… from about 100 feet below the plane… through the moonroof of the car…

So… Bendy and Jay… I’m not sure how the food is and I’m sure that your DVC points won’t get you a great room, but how about we do this for a vacation one day???

After that we cut through the wonderful town of Scotia (our sister city…town…burg…whatever…) on our tour…

There is a gem here in Scotia… it’s… Well… THE SCOTIA CINEMA!!!! Our local oneplex where 2 can go to the movies & get snacks served to you by an Elvis Impersonator… for the great price of about $12…

Hey… isn’t that movie out on DVD next week????

He actually enjoyed slumming it for a while - he said it made a nice change from all that gourmet stuff at V&A's

As for the beer - he couldnt drink enough - "better than wine pairings and 100year old malt any day" were his words as he slurped and burbed his way through 12 cans

PS - He might not be that kind to Happy if you know what I mean - he got up to some naughty tricks with his towel animal friends last October on our cruise

I am Karen, also known far and wide as Madisonznana. I am so jealous, your trip sounds wonderful. We are paying for my daughter, Dr. Jeckel/Miss Hyde, I mean Bridezilla, I mean Amanda's wedding this year. So no cruise for us. Madison is highly disapppointed!
I think you will have a ton of fun with your travelling companions.
Could you do me a big favor and ask your Aunt if I will get to meet you at Disneyland?? And if you are too busy, can I still meet her and Grammy B?
Good luck with that packing and I sure hope you do your part and help to carry them!
