Hi
Just wondering if anyone can give me their opinion on Planet Holleywood. We are leaving to go Eurodisney tomorrow night and planning to eat here one night as my 2 sons think the "world" looks cool!!! Seen a lot of mixed reports about it.

we ate there on our recent trip so a week ago...it was delicious!!we went in at about 6ish and were seated immeadiately, orders taken swiftly, food delivered swiftly, food was lovely, good portions, i liked the restaurant itself too.i too had read mixed reviews but tbh it was my favourite meal of the trip :thumbsup2

i had the pasta bolognese and a banana split and dd had the chicken crunch with chips and chocolate icecream, she loved the chicken and chips but found the chocolate icecream a bit too rich (it was rich but it was yummy lol) i would happily eat there again

Hi,
We ate here on Tuesday I was not over impressed with mine but my sister liked hers. i had the Turkey Club sandwich and sis had the LA Lasagne. We ate at 4pm as we did not want dd to get too tired before we ate. there was about 5 other families there and the service was so slow.
The bread on the sandwich was so soggy, i ate most of it because i was hungry. DD has the childs chef salad as she was not hungry as she was not feeling too well, she hardly touched it but i think that was because she was unwell. I'm doing day 2 of my TR in a bit I think i have pictures if you would like to see the meals :thumbsup2

All in all i think Planet hollywood is hit and miss somethimes.

There always seem to be more negative than positive reviews on the internet and when we ate there a few years ago I really wasn't expecting much. However our food was delicious and our server was really sweet. Bear in mind that the tables are all quite close together and that they will visit your table to take your photo (just refuse if you don't want this) and if you've got a Brit's Guide take the discount voucher from the back to get 20% off.

I would eat there again but it would never be my first choice in the Village.

We first ate at Planet Hollywood in 2006, and at the time loved it. We had a nice table which was tucked in a corner away from the busiest part of the restaurant, for DLP prices we got a lot of food for our money, and looking at all of the props and costumes was quite interesting while waiting for our food.

We went back again last December, and didn't like it quite as much. It felt less intimate and our table was right in the middle of everything so it wasn't as relaxing as our first visit. However saying that the food and service was fantastic. Our portions were generous, the food genuinely tasty, and our waiter was very attentive and friendly.

For the overall ambiance compared to some of the other restaurants I wouldn't score it highly, but as far as the food and service are concerned I couldn't fault it. It's a fun place compared to some of the more reserved restaurants at DLP, and if your boys will enjoy the loud and energetic atmosphere I'm sure they'll like it. :goodvibes

my girlfriend and i went for my birthday in january. the cocktails, the starter and my food (the ribs) were great... but i didn't end up eating all of it as my girlfriend had to send her food back twice...

she had the salmon and rice - the first time she sent it back because the rice was a solid, dry mass (i'm guessing it was under a heater of something for a substancial amount of time) and the second time the salmon was 100% uncooked.

it was disappointing as it was my actual birthday... but the waiter saw we weren't eating the second time and the manager came straight over without us asking and told us we didn't have to pay for anything (including 4 cocktails) and we could even have desert! we didn't take him up on the desert but we left the table very happy because of the way they handled the situation... and went straight to the bar and got more cocktails!

i recommend the "hellboy" or the "cast away"!

Expensive but where isn't at Disney.

Kids food is decent value and they loved looking at the memorabilia on the walls.
