If you could go anwyhere in DTD for dinner, would you pick Planet Hollywood?

No. If I could go anywhere at DTD with children, I'd choose Puck's Cafe, House of Blues, or even Earl of Sandwich over Planet Hollywood.

If you've never been before, it's cool to look around but it's rather loud with the
big screen blaring. After that, no. None of the restaurants on the West Side
knock me out. Head over to P.I. and enjoy Raglan Road. It's awesome.

Planet Hollywood would be the LAST place I would pick! Incrediably loud & cahotic; mediocre food & service.

Wolfgang Puck was really tasty & I hear great things about Raglan Road.

The best place for a family with kids in DTD is absolutely Rainforest Cafe! Food is great, prices may be a little high, but what isn't as WDW!! The atmosphere is spectaular with all the animals around, especially when they come to life. If you've never been, you have to go at least once!

We usually go to Rainforest Cafe. DH is looking to try something different. Other option was Ragland Road - completely not for me! What's great about House of Blues?

We've always enjoyed good food and good service at Planet Hollywood.

When I took my god daughter to Disney World (age 11) she loved it.

While you are waiting for food, you can look around at the displays and/or watch the music videos.

Yes it is loud but at least it's with music (or during the day movie clips). Most disney restaurants are loud with "people noise" - talking, yelling, crying, plates clanging, silverware banging, etc.

The appetizers and desserts are awesome and it has one of the more extensive menus (lots to choose from - their LA Lasagna is great).

I've had dinner twice at PH and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Most recently was last May. I had the fried lasagna (or something like that. lol) and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! LOL Decent service too

Loud yes but as PP said What disney resturant isn't noisy? We went to PH about 7 pm on New Years Eve had about a 15 minute wait service was excellent food was very very good. Went back again a few days later it was the same other than we only waited about 5 mins.

We have been to many Planet Hollywood's, many of which are now closed. It is a good pick if you have kids and don't want to go to the Rainforest. We enjoy House of Blues, their food and service have been great each time we have been. I just wouldn't pick it as a great kid friendly place, though I don't have kids so I could be wrong.

We only go to Planet Hollywood cuz we get a voucher. Otherwise, I'd eat somewhere else.

I dunno when you are going, but they are supposed to be opening a new restaurant there, T-Rex or something. Maybe it will be open when you go?
