We just got our reservation packet from Disney and inside were 2 Planet Hollywood Vouchers. You can get a dinner/lunch of their choice which I believe was a burger combo, a salad or pasta and a drink. I've never seen these before. There are 4 in our party, however we only got 2. I don't think we will use them though since we are on the Dining Plan and Planet Hollywood isn't a favorite of ours. Are they new and why did we get 2 instead of 4?

They seem to come with all the packages this year - I guess it's an incentive to eat at Planet Hollywood. We only got 1 for 2 of us which we probably won't use either as the other would have to pay for a meal.

Interesting....it mentions that the vouchers are part of their new 2006 package inclusions on the Disney website when you book your resort, tickets, etc... I tried to pull up the website to check, but it's down. If I remember right, I thought it sounded like you were supposed to get a voucher for everybody. Guess that's not the case. :confused3

I hate Planet Hollywood's food , so mine will not get used. Can we give these away or is it one of those one per party type things?

If you can give them away i wouldn't mind them - we tried to eat there last year but the queue was horrendous!! :thumbsup2

We booked our package through AAA and I thought it was part of the AAA incentives. We are only supposed to get 1 per package is what it says on
my stuff. I could use 3 more as we are a family of 4 and can always use a little help on the old budget. If anyone wants to pass theirs on, PM me and we can make arrangements. :thumbsup2

Thanks, YO

If we don't use ours on our trip March 10-18 I'll be glad to give them to anyone who wants them. I don't know why we got 2 instead of 1. The only problem I see is that they do have my name on them so I don't know if they would make you show ID or not.

JadenLayne - I will be glad to take yours if you are not going to use the Planet Hollywood voucher. Have a wonderful trip! :)

Hey, I asked 1st! :teeth:

OOPs I guess girlsontour asked 1st. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Anyways, does anyone know if they even check who's who on the vouchers?
Do they really care?
Unless it says non-transferable it should be ok to use others.
Anyone know if does say anything about that?

Thanks, YO

The real question is: Can you use more than one voucher per table? Most things like this have that as the first exclusion. Anyone know about this? It would make the voucher trading pointless.

Depends if anyone is willing to post the voucher all the way to England!!! :thumbsup2

I dug mine out because we did not use it on our recent trip. We received one voucher for the two of us. Here is what is on it:

PLANET HOLLYWOOD MEAL VOUCHER

"Redeem this voucher at Planet Hollywood located in the Downtown Disney West Side to receive One (1) select entree and one (1) non-alcoholic beverage. You have a choice of one (1) of the following entrees:
Any burger platter
Caesar Salad
Pasta Pomodoro

Offer is valid for one (1) select entree per reservation, dine in only. Gratuity is not included. Voucher is required for redemption and is non-transferable." and on. "Not valid with any other offer, discount or promotion." :(

It indicates not only my name but my reservation number on it as well. I also received merchandise voucher with the package.

"It indicates not only my name but my reservation number on it as well. "

Oh well..........can't say we didn't try. I presume that is so that people don't pass it onto others.

Does the voucher have restrictions on what days and times you can use it? We could possibly use ours on a Saturday for an early lunch, but I thought on another thread it said you can only use them Monday-Friday. We are just planning to go to DTD for awhile the morning of our departure day so we may not end up using ours, either.
