For as little as Planet Hollywood is talked about here, you'd think they wouldn't be as busy as they are :rotfl:

Please tell me we're not the only ones that love them...? Their ribs are so yummy! Plus, you get a $15 voucher, so we don't even have to use our dining plan credits there! ;)

It's become a tradition that on our first day we go to DTD and eat dinner at PH, since it's only a half-day.

PS did they stop taking reservations or something, because I had no problem booking Le Cellier this morning, but I couldn't get a reservation for PH on the date I wanted at all! Must be because it was a Saturday, I guess... but a Saturday in November...? I've never had a problem getting a reservation at PH before! :headache:

PH was decent when I went years ago. I believe I had the Cap'n Cruch Chicken. Not sure if they have it still or not, pretty average food but loved all of the memorabilia on the walls and throughout the restaurant.

We enjoy it as well. Only on vacation would I visit a restaurant that loud.

The LA Lasagna is excellent and the Tostados - yum.

It's a great restaurant...we were there this past July and the food was amazing...even the kids pizza dish was slamming:happytv:(not like the other kiddy stuff) I think no one really talks about it becuase its not signature or a place that's only @ WdW

I guess it would never be on my list of places to eat while at WDW. There are way to many unique places to try. You can go to PH in so many other cities. In my experience of PH, they all seem to be the same. In fact, they pretty much have the same food as all those other family chains. I imagine that the inside of their kitchen is just a series of microwaves. However, if your family likes it, that's great.

We love PH too. Their mixed drinks are great and the atmosphere is so fun! We have yet to have a bad meal here!:thumbsup2

We enjoyed our meal there, but it isn't a big Disney favorite because we have several locations closer to home and don't have to be at Disney to eat there. Since I always have an ADR wish list longer than my trip, PH is one that just doesn't tend to make the cut because we can get the same experience at the one in Niagara or the one in Myrtle Beach where there are fewer tempting alternatives vying for my limited number of vacation dinners.

I forget that there are several other locations throughout the US. Everything that was anywhere near me shut down long ago. Mall of America... gone years ago. Going to Chicago in 1 1/2 weeks. Looked for a PH... shut down... :sad2:

So to us, it's new and fun!:cheer2: I agree, it sure does get loud in there, but every once in a while I like that sort of atmosphere. :thumbsup2

They are not just in the US, either. They are throughout the world. The newest locations will be Kuwait and India. I can't imagine travelling across the world to eat at PH. I just can't.

I would call to get ADRs. I tried to book online earlier in the week and I couldn't either. When I called, the CM said they are having trouble loading. I had no trouble getting an ADR when I called. Plenty of openings!

We just returned and ate at PH our last day. It was my kids' favorite meal along with the character meals. After a week of us telling them to quiet down at dinner, they could be as loud as they wanted and they were still drowned out by the music. We really liked it. The food was good enough and the atmosphere was fun.

I think we may go to DTD on our last day. We are, for right now, planning on going back to MK before we depart. But MK that day will be our 3rd time going this trip...so maybe we'll check out DTD and go to HP and use up our voucher, since by the last day, we will be out of TS or CS credits.

Thanks for the tip - I will do that. I was thinking it's probably something like that. I can't imagine that they're all booked up - I usually can even get in without an ADR!

Planet hollywood's direct number is 407-827-7827.

The website only shows info on booking a reservation for large groups. So, maybe they don't do advanced reservations?

We love PH! Their LA Lasagna Bolognese is awesome!! I've had gastric bypass since last time we were there and unfortunatley won't be able too handle all that pasta. But if you still have a stomach ;) , I highly recommend it! :thumbsup2
