Plane crash on Hilton Head Beach

For those who travel to DVC on Hilton Head Island, SC.

This was right on the beach where the DVC beach house is:

I was just going to post this. Wow, the crash was on the other side of the Marriott Complex for you google people it was near Armada Street. Here is an update about the victim that was killed. http://www.islandpacket.com/2010/03/16/1174196/ga-man-running-on-beach-was-killed.html . How sad he was a Husband and Father of 2 young children here in GA. He was just out jogging on the beach with his ipod. How sad..........

Lord knows how many times my wife and I have walked that exact spot of the beach. I have even picked the house that we would purchase if we hit the lottery right at this exact spot.

What an unbelievable way to die. Wrong place at the wrong time. Thoughts and prayers to his wife and kids.

Threads of this type are kept on the News Board here on the DIS.

It is tragic - without question. But all news stories pertaining to Disney are kept there. We have these separate boards so the individual boards do not become a free-for all. The resorts board is primarily for planning and coordinating a trip to the Disney resorts.
