PlanDisney Panelist Search 2025 Applications Open July 8

And just like that, the submit button has been hit. Crazy to think I was able to sit down and feel good about my answers and not pour over them for DAYS like the past three years. I did find nomenclature issues with last year’s answers. I really think that was part of my detriment last year. They shortened the application timeframe for r1 this year it seems. What does have me wondering is the page says notifications in August and when you submit, it states September. I can’t remember how long it was between r1 and 2 in the past years. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But regardless, it is out of my hands now.
Way to go!!

I'm with you, I only reread my answers once and just hit submit. No overthinking this year...

Let the wait begin...

Hi y’all! How to fun see some familiar user names from last year! :) I haven’t had a chance to fully appreciate that the process has officially kicked off, as we have been hunkered down for Hurricane Beryl. I hope to get a chance to read the questions and submit my answers tomorrow, though. Definitely trying to avoid overthinking things too much this time around… best of luck to everyone who has already hit submit, and to those of you who will be doing so in a few days!

Good luck with the hurricane. Seems like it’s been pretty bad down on the east coast of Texas

Thanks. Yes, we are greater Houston area. 1.5 million people still without power… We lost/regained power several times so I feel very fortunate that once the storm had passed we (miraculously) still had electricity. Especially with this heat… no A/C is extra brutal this time of year. Prayers and hugs to any fellow Texans who didn’t fare as well.

That said, I don’t think I have the energy to over analyze my answers this time. Maybe it’ll benefit me? Feeling a little rusty on that pesky nomenclature though! 😂

Glad y'all are ok. We are in Corpus so we were all ready until it changes directions. My husbands aunt live in Rosenburg and got lucky with the electricity.

Nomenclature always feels rust on r1.

Y’all. I said I wasn’t going to over analyze my answers and then last night, in the middle of typing in my last answer, our internet went out. Ugh! It left me all night to toss and turn and overthink and repeatedly revise that one particular answer. Go figure! 🤪 Officially submitted this morning, and am excited to be in the waiting room with all you friends! ❤️

LOL - is that the same as a twisted version of Murphy's law???? So glad you got it submitted... there will be sleep tonight1!

I've spent some time going back and looking at all my Disney trips and then thinking through the questions. Is the application always this short? I just feel like they will not know much about me from the limited number of questions. I'll be submitting tomorrow!

Good luck to all those who are applying this year. It feels like there isn't as much action in this chat as there was last year... Not sure if that means not as many on here are applying this time, or maybe everyone is just focused on finishing up their answers. :) I do feel like slightly earlier timeframe this year, and the shorter application period for round 1 does make things a little tricky if you are out of town or just extra busy for this week. Once again Good Luck!

Question for those submitting or who have got to final stages or even been selected. Ive been interested for a few years, but part of the eligibility is being able to travel to Florida for training. Does Disney pay for the travel to Florida and for the accommodation during the training?

I haven’t been able to figure out if this is a year or multi-year commitment?
It is initially a one year commitment, they sometimes ask panelists if they would like to to do a second year right after the first. They can also reach out a few years down the road and ask if you would like to be on that years panel. It all depends on how many people they need and the mix of backgrounds, experience, etc.

Congrats on submitting! I think the September mention was a typo (or just left in from last year). Usually the wait for R2 results is just under a month, so my guess is that we hear back the week of August 5.

Yeah I thought it was interesting that R1 was a day shorter this year and ended on a Saturday!

The application is always this short, and it’s such a challenge with those 100 word answers! But apparently each application is read by a real person, so they probably have to keep each application manageable.

Disney pays for travel, accommodation, and meals for the training trip!

Yea. R1 is always this way.
