I can't be the only one having this problem today and every day....Planning my stratedies and answering questions that my fellow Disers might need help with ......or sitting here at my desk and actually working. I am having a problem concentrating on work instead of thinking which day do I want to visit each park. I have my monitor turned so noone knows what I am doing.....hehe..... December won't be here soon enough.

I know I can't be alone on this one!!! Not to mention my live365.com on in the background!

I'm right there w/ you. I am at work now- pathetic that I only work 2 days a week and I can't even concentrate when I'm here. I'm even dealing w/ this super slow, clunky, old dial-up connection that takes longer than any I've ever seen just to check out what is going on.

I am thinking of starting to work on my day to day plans for my January trip after lunch. :earsboy:

LOL, k, typed and lost it..... I am on a 15 minute break and could not get down to the computer lab fast enough to see what has gone since I was on at home last at 6:00 this morning :rotfl:

You all have a good rest of the morning, I will see you at lunch

I have a different problem. I work 6 months on and then 6 months off. So... I have been used to sitting at my desk w/o the internet and NOT having this problem. I also got a hand from my DF with the housework then.

Now, all of a sudden, I am supposed to be a housewife and he is leaving all of the home duties to me... so, either I go on the board and look forward to our trip and send him little fact on MSN every 20 minutes. OR, I do housework :cool1:

I leave tomorrow and all I keep thinking about is:

Did I pack everything I need?
What am I doing this time tommorow?
When will we have our first mickey ear ice cream?

The sad part of it all - when vacation is over and I am back at work - I will still be thinking on those same lines.

i've got our january day-by-day figured out already... made my ps'... packed half our clothes (well, sorta, i was stowing the summer/fall stuff and figured some of it would be going to wdw w/us, so i packed that in a different tote)... and spend far too much time here instead of doing what i am being paid to do... ooops! but it's nice to see i'm not alone! :flower:

I agree just too convenient. This is the quiet time to do it at home the girls are always needing something and I refuse to go on during my night time quiet time. (Because I would be up way too late lose track of time and then have an even worse day at work from being tired)

My addition to this site (and others) is intense. My DH thinks I'm crazy. This year I am planning for 13 people and want everything to be perfect. I am obessing over ADRs, etc. I can't concentrate at all at work (which is where I am right now) and while I am doing all my Disney planning I am trying to get my boss back to New York from Boca Raton (he's sitting in the dark, no lights, no phones, using his cell to call me when its not in his car charging, LOL) See he wants to be in NY while I'm dreaming of FL.

Hehe - you are not alone. I have my live365 playing and I am also at work and planning away. This is really bad. I have a deadline to meet!
See you there in DEC!

I'm taking the HR Block tax course and the final exam is the Monday before I leave. Now you all know I won't be thinking of tax laws and such all I'll be thinking is I'M GOING TO DISNEY!!!!WOOHOO WOOHOO!! :cool1:  :Pinkbounc
Kimba :paw:

right there with ya too.....luckily I am the only one in the office today....but most of my time on the net at work is on this site reading

Count me in too. I spend at least 1/2 a day on here planning my trip for January. I also have my screen turned so no one can see what I'm doing. hehe.

Me too!! I'm in a cubicle, so I have to listen for footsteps and then quick click onto a WoRD document, or something else. When I have my sandwich and my soda next to me, I don't bother. I feel "justified" since it' is my lunch break.

I wonder when these companies are going to start yanking our internet access; that would be awful!!

We leave November 25th and all I can do is search the boards and read about Disney I just can't get enough - I use my entire lunch break on the boards not to mention the many times during the day - I have finally learned how to click down quickly - as a matter of fact I leave the DisBoards open on my computer all day long and just minimize it when I HAVE to do work!!!!

Don't even think that!! Yanking internet service would end my life!!!! The best part is I am the office manager so I dont have to answer to anyone. My boss is my ex-husband....who obviously needed me or I wouldn't still be here. This is my revenge for him screwing around!!!! On line with the Disers and I bought into the DVC this past month. Sweet revenge yes what goes around comes around...it is amazing how they have to learn the hard way. Now get back to work if you are reading this.....

LMAO! I'm at home today, but I definately do some planning from work!

I have worked for the same company for 20 years. We have recently migrated to working from home. Now I have even less reason to pretend like I am working. I am currently working on a very detailed, confusing, brain-knocker project and sometimes I just need a break from it all. That is when I can log on to the DIS and immerse myself in Disney....it seems so understandable compared to what I have to deal with all day. Sometimes I think planning for my Disney trips is the only thing that keeps me from quitting. Thanks everybody for making it a fun place to escape to!

I have to agree with the escape theory. Try working foryour ex husband!!!

Just downsize window or listen to live 365 and guess where the song came from or what movie.

See look at me I am here again. But I have actually accomplished alot today so I deserve it!
