Plan for Single day at DHS

Hi All!

I have some friends visiting WDW next week and will do one day at DHS. We did fast passes yesterday for TSM and Indiana Jones (I think) - Had hoped to get Fantasmic, but missed it.
I am suggesting Smugglers run at Rope drop - because they really want to do that. Only 3 of 4 will do RnR or ToT, so do you think they should head right over there after Smugglers? Maybe they can do the child swap (do they still have that?)

Both Fantasmic and the fireworks are at 9PM so they will have to pick one. I would suggest Fantasmic, but only if they can arrive at 8:15 or so and get in. If not, do the fireworks.

Other than that, I'm suggesting just monitor the ebb and flow. Any other thoughts?

1. That doesn't sound right.
You should be able to get a Fantasmic! FP (even day-of) nearly the year-round.

4. Yup. (But, I still think you can get a day-of FP for F!) If you CAN get FPs,
still arrive at the Fantasmic! theater at least 45 min. before show time.

BTW, if you actually CANNOT get a same-day Fantasmic! FP, I would get to the Fantasmic! theater at least an hour before show time, as that "no FP" situation would indicate a very, VERY full theater!
(It would also indicate that the Star Wars fireworks should be PACKED.)

We were there 2 weeks ago. Late afternoon wsa looking for a FP for Fantasmic adn initailly non available. The park wasn't extremely crowded. FPs eventually did become available.
We got in line 45 mnutes early and both lines were very long and the theater was packed in all the sections.
