Plan for New Harry Expansion

We've been going to HP since it opened in 2010. Every July. Now reluctant to book for July in case it's not finished. The whole idea is to experience the new section. Opinions of changing to August just to be sure would be appreciated. What's everyone else out there think? Going in August means changing several things around due to daughter & grand daughters schedules.

I feel certain Diagon Alley will be open by mid-July but definitely by August. Crowds are still heavy during early to mid-August but by the end of August they have quieted down somewhat. If you are unsure and can go in August, I would switch dates.
