My wife and I will be at RPR 11/29-12/1. I notice that all three days IOA will have early admission. We want to ride Kong with the regular line at least once. If we get into IOA for EE, what is the procedure for getting in line for Kong?

About 20 minutes before regular park opening, people will begin to queue on the bridge out of Hogsmead that runs toward Jurassic Park. Cast members will hold you there until they get a message that the front gates have opened (a few minutes before the hour). From there, you will be able to walk to Kong before the front gaters arrive. Kong will be a walk-on. Have fun!

They will probably send you through the regular line first thing in the morning. It's a really long queue, so be prepared. I think it took us 8-10 minutes at a really quick pace at park opening. We had people in front of us, but everyone was pretty much speed walking. The queue is really cool though. You can hang back a bit if you want to see something better.

Looks like they changed early entry to USF for all three days we will be there. Any suggestions for making our way over to Kong? We will have EP but want to walk through the queue at least once. Best to do it first thing in the morning?

We were at IOA 25 minutes before opening in Oct. The goal was Kong and the water rides and then back to the hotel pool. We made our way to Kong and walked right on the ride, rode JP and Kong still had a 5 minute posted wait. I think as long as you're there sometime before opening the wait will be minimal.

Is it quicker to walk from the front of IOA to Kong or get into USF with early admission and then take the train over to IOA and walk from there?

train is too unpredictable. just be in line at ioa at least 20 minutes before scheduled opening. they will most likely open early, and walk right to kong. you will be fine going in the regular queue.

Wait times for Kong have been very short late in the day this week. 20 to 30 minutes. If you plan to stay until closing time, plan to ride Kong last.
