I'm hoping to get an ADR for dinner at LeCellier, but need a back up plan. My husband is a basic meat and potatoe type of guy. We will be in Epcot that day with no park hopper option. I was thinking Rose & Crown or Garden Grill?
Any suggestions....

Have you looked at the menu for both restaurants?
Are you going with kids, or if not does a character meal appeal to you?

I've been to Garden Grille, and enjoyed it. It's family style so they bring you a little of all the offerings and then let you have more of what you like.
I've never been to the Rose & Crown, but it's one I would really like trying.

We loved Le Cellier on our last trip though, and got a huge bang for the buck on the Dining Plan.

To me, a choice between GG and R&C is as simple as, "Will your children be with you?"

If you have kids with you, you will all enjy Garden Grill more. If not, I believe you may enjoy R&C more.

Have fun, either way!

I agree with the 2 above, and if you get an ADR for 7:30 to 8 you can watch Illuminations from the best location IMO about the time just before dessert. If you are dining inside they will take you out to a patio to view or if lucky enough you may get an outside table on the lower deck.
