Because it's Disney and they know they can get away with hiking the price up.Why, it's the exact same as today it's just called something different.

HAHAHAHAHA I can't with you - and this is the exact same thing as Fastpass was - and that was free !!!!Why, it's the exact same as today it's just called something different.
And this will put even MORE pressure on people to buy Multipass Lightning Lane - because without it your trip is going to suck compared to other people's trips. Especially on moderate to higher crowd days. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out/ One of Disney's biggest issues is that they do not have enough capacity for everyone paying for a skip the line service to get the rides they want. I fully expect the big E tickets to be gone quickly, especially for people staying offsite. So exactly how it was with Fastpass+.
yes, when it comes to making money.Really ??? Is that what we teach our kids ? Everyone else is doing it - so you should too !!!
Were talking about ticket prices not saving the worldits bad everywhere else so Disney should be bad too.
Nope don't remember that at allDon't you remember - when we were told the one of the justifications for disney's MUCH higher ticket price - was the inclusion of Fastpass and Fastpass plus?
So....pretty much how it is now (and was the case with Fastpass+) on high crowd days where at the merge point, 100 LL are let in for every 1 standby party? And this will put even MORE pressure on people to buy Multipass Lightning Lane - because without it your trip is going to suck compared to other people's trips. This!! yes this would be great for people who have trips planned during the time of roll out. I have 5 park days and 3 will be with the old system and 2 with the new. I know more information will get dropped soon... but i would like to start getting savvy on what i need to do with the new system.I wish they would give all of the information, cost? can the same ride be booked more than once? will the individual rides still have stand by or virtual que?
You have not put down a coherent thought as to why any individual should be mad at Disney about paying for a service every other company charges for besides Disney making it free prior. A company charging for a previously free or included perk is nothing new.HAHAHAHAHA I can't with you - and this is the exact same thing as Fastpass was - and that was free !!!!
Remember when you just told me that everyone else was bad so Disney SHOULD be bad too .... everyone else charges more for their skip the line pass - guess disney should too right ? That's what you've said !!!
Nobody in their right mind is happy about paying more for something. But this is the world we live in. I'm not going throw a fit over something I have no control over. If the system provides me with a benefit that I deem worth the price then I will buy it. That's how being a consumer works.
We go July 27 so idk if we will be able to book 7 days ahead or notThis!! yes this would be great for people who have trips planned during the time of roll out. Apparently this is a tough concept for you to grasp but - Disney charging us more for stuff - is bad for us. That's it. That's the point. You have not put down a coherent thought as to why any individual should be mad at Disney about paying for a service every other company charges for besides Disney making it free prior. It would be one thing if Disney was the first park to start charging for skip the line products and this caused everyone else in the industry to follow suit or other parks were giving away skip the line features for free but none of them do. There is nothing to villainize Disney over with the move to charge for Fastpass besides Disney having as broken of a system as Fastpass and consistently failing to fix it with every iteration they come out with.
i really wish they would have added that to the information that was dropped. Something like "Guest with bookings on roll out can select rides at -insert time- on July 17th"We go July 27 so idk if we will be able to book 7 days ahead or not
I think this will be worse - because the psychological ability to preplan and feel the FOMO even farther out from their trip will push people to this - so there will be even more demand on E-ticket rides via Lightning lane.So....pretty much how it is now (and was the case with Fastpass+) on high crowd days where at the merge point, 100 LL are let in for every 1 standby party?
It says:So we can only book one tier one ride per day? Or can we get a second tier one ride after we use our initially booked rides? I can’t remember how this worked with fast pass.
I agree with this and we are in this mindset. I hate being up at 7 am to book everything at once. It gives me anxiety so we usually end up not buying it. Knowing we can book ahead, we are much more likely to buy itI think this will be worse - because the psychological ability to preplan and feel the FOMO even farther out from their trip will push people to this - so there will be even more demand on E-ticket rides via Lightning lane.
Generally agree - but it still has the most important advantage of FP+ you get to sneer at the Gen Pop folks who are waiting longer in line than they would have if you didn't get LL as you walk past them. Of course, at least FP+ made this fair to all guests, but, C'est la Vie.Aaand we’re back to people with 10-14 day trips getting all of the tier 1 rides, making it useless for people with 7 day or shorter trips. It was one thing when it was free fastpass+, but why would anyone with a shorter trip pay that much for something that gives them pretty much zero chance at lightning lanes on any tier 1 rides? Maybe I’m missing something, but this seems to have all of the problems of fastpass+ with none of the positives. Not free, no mention of re-rides, the wording even makes it unclear if you can get more than a 4th LL:
- Once you’re in the park and you enjoy your first multi pass experience, you may be able to make an additional selection (subject to availability).
Ooh, we MAY be able to make AN additional selection. At least they say they will let you see what rides and times you can get before you buy, so I guess the good news is you don’t have to pay to be disappointed. You get to be disappointed for free.
I'm hoping they still do second drop times of rides like they do now. Like we'll roll out these many of slinky dog... and then drop these the day of.Aaand we’re back to people with 10-14 day trips getting all of the tier 1 rides, making it useless for people with 7 day or shorter trips.
