Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Stupid question I am sure, but what the heck I'll ask anyway:

Will the ILL purchases be available to buy 7 days in advance also (if staying in Disney Resort) if we DON'T buy the Multi Pass?
Yes. From the Disneyworld website: "Select a Lightning Lane Single Pass, a Lightning Lane Multi Pass or both."

Nope.

I didn't miss anything. You said, "The current pricing is," and you were incorrect. So please just stop. It is just silly at this point.

Today's prices are $29, $21, $26, and $18. The reason the pricing trend is at all important is because the price has edged slightly up in the last few days, and that gives some indication of the pricing they hope to use, though it depends on how sales of G+ are going, and we don't have that information.

The pricing on Wednesday will probably be the same as today or a bit higher, even though the parks are not all that busy.

When Dave said “current” he probably meant an avg estimate or range of the last few days not the “exact” price of any day.

So yes we can probably expect the pricing to be “around” what is currently being offered.

But I do agree with you that if we are talking more exact pricing it will probably be on the higher end of the estimate lol.

I can’t decide if we’re gonna buy this or not. I guess we’ll see how Wednesday morning goes. We check in on 7/27, planning to buy it for HS and MK because ds wants to ride Slinky and Tower of Terror and I would like to try Tiana.

Is 8.0.1 the right version of MDE for iPhone
I just downloaded 8.0 on Saturday, so you're already a version later than mine. My phone isn't telling me there is a later version to download, so I wonder if getting the very latest is really necessary. I'm not going soon, so it is only for academic interest to me. As for you, yes, I think you have the latest version.

Just checked updates in the Apple app store, and 8.0.1 was there for me and I just updated to it. Was already on 8.0.

MDE version 8.0.1 is available as of about 1 hour ago with a date of July 22 in the Apple App store. MDE version 8.0 was available on the App store on July 18th. The current version posted to the Apple App store is Technically 8.0.1 with a Build: 20240716.1

@Tom_E_D , if you don't want to wait on the MDE app to prompt you to update or wait for your App Store App to show the latest version. You will need to delete your current MDE app from your iPhone.

Note: depending on how you delete the app your cache data from the app may also be deleted, you will need your Log in information.

Yep it looks like they found a bug or bugs. As I mentioned earlier in the thread when we discussed the updated MDE 8.0 we may see more updates before Wednesday, July 24th at 7 AM EDT.

You can update your app yourself without deleting it. (This is from https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/update-apps-iph98709f167/ios)

Apps installed by default on your iPhone are updated whenever you update iOS. Apps that you download from the App Store app are automatically updated by default, but you can manually update an app.
Turn off automatic app updates
Go to Settings > App Store.
Turn off App Updates.
Manually update apps
Open the App Store app on your iPhone.
Tap the My Account button or your picture at the top right.
Scroll down, then tap Update next to apps you want to update, or tap Update All.
After an app is updated, it appears in the list of apps below Updated Recently.

Thank you. Very helpful and easy to go through.

Question
If park hopping, can you still select a Parkhopping MLL?
I am only seeing videos where it is broken down by park.
Thanks for your help.

So If I am starting at AK and then hopping to MK.
I only need to buy the AK MLL at the AK MLL price and it will cover MK as well?

Thanks for the heads up.
That is correct. Will need to use the first selection before selecting a MK ride. Still lot of questions / tests for further info coming once release happens. Will be keeping eyes on all the youtubers for info after they all try it for a couple days.

Time to let this go......

The pricing discussion was only important in the context of predicting what Wednesday's pricing will be, and to see if AK/ Epcot will soon be priced closer to the MK pricing because hopping is allowed with every LLMulti-Pass.

I'm confident Disney would love to have everyone pay $30+ for LLMP in all 4 parks.
