Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

I did chat with disney yesterday and they told me, 7 days from each checkin. Do you remember where you got your information? I'm so hoping you're right . I wish it was posted somewhere.

Hello -- I have 10 day park hoppers for a split stay starting next week. (4 days Wilderness Lodge /6 days Beach club). I was able to book Multipass for 9 of the 10 days, but for day #3 of the trip its saying "Guest has reached the limit of days they can plan for" and will not let me book either Multipass or Individual Lightning lanes. Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it? I'm not sure why one random day in the middle isn't working....
How about trying to book on another MDE for your group? I’d also double check everyone’s ticket media and make sure there wasn’t a mistake in purchasing.

What order did you try and book day # 3? Did you go in order booking day 1, 2 then 3 or did you jump around or had you tried booking day # 3, ran into an issue and just decided to move onto other days?

I'm wondering if to the system it's not specifically day # 3 of the trip but just counting it as a random day. If that were the case it would be like the system is only recognizing 9 days eligible and it being day #3 is not significant. If this were the case it could be an issue with the tickets and the system interaction.

It could be that the system is running into an issue with the split stay not hooking it up that you're doing 10 days but thinking there's a day in there not covered and still only counting 9 days of eligibility. If tis were the case then it could be the on-site split stay causing the issue.

Just "thinking out loud" thoughts here. I'm not sure how to fix it but a PP has a good tip about double checking the specific tickets.

Is there a way to modify your LLMP selection to a later time other than taking the suggested next available time? For example, I booked Pirates this morning for next Sunday 8/11 (we arrive next Saturday) for 11:45. I might want to change that now to 4pm due to other plans. But when I go to modify, I’m not shown a screen with the hour bubbles, only offered the next available time. How do I get those bubbles? Or is that not possible?

I apologize if this has been covered but I’ve read through the thread and did a search but can’t seem to find an answer. Please point me there if I’m missing it.

Actually I answered my own question. Once I tap “change to this time” for the selection, I’m given a screen where I can modify times before I accept and confirm the change. That is where the bubbles show up. I was afraid to tap “change to this time” and mess up my selection! But you can back out of it before confirming. This is the screen though that you need to carefully double check that the “change to this time” hasn’t changed since you tapped - it very easily could have changed.

I did try to book this day last; its our last MK day so I booked my other MK days first, then jumped to the second half the of the trip to book epcot/HS/AK, then came back to do this day last. So yes, it could be that they are not letting me book the 10th day total because perhaps it thinks I have already booked all 4 of the days from the first half of the split stay.

Interestingly I just went and tried to book a multipass for the day AFTER our trip ends (when we wont even be there anymore) and it let me do it. So, I CAN book a 10th day, just not on day #3 when I want it. The system must be locking me out of the first half of my split stay.

I guess I'll have to call to fix it. But this is an interesting nuance that is likely related to the split stay.

After you call, please come back and report how it was resolved. As someone who loves split stays I'd appreciate any info you can share.

I have 2 people in my party who won’t be join8ng us until later in the day (after work). To be able to book everything together and make it easier on myself should I just select all members for each day of the trip and suck up the cost? What happens when people don’t tap in for the ride?

Since they have not entered the park their initial selections may expire based on the times you select and you can't replace them. The experiences will just be stuck until they tap into the park.

So in similar case, is it easier to book for everyone and then cancel the later-arriving folks? I’m trying to figure out strategies for our trip, when DH and I will likely enter parks later than DD and DSiL.

Two factors to consider. The number of guests in your total party makes a difference and are you planning to initially book earlier in the day for the group and then just have a few hours of difference between the initial groups park arrival and the remaining members joining.

In your specific case will you and your DH be joining them before they complete all 3 of the initial Group's selections? It comes down to how to sync up your groups LLMP additional selections?

Took a beach vacation after so little late in posting our experience from last weekend. We did AK on 6/26, MK on 6/27, and HS on 6/28 with the LLMP. We also did Epcot on 6/29 but did not buy the LLMP for it since options are limited. Mainly wanted to ride GoG and did it twice with VQ and LLSP.

At AK it was helpful as we only had about 4 hrs to spend and wanted to do EE, KS, FoP, NRJ, and FOLK all in that time. So we did both the LLMP and LLSP for FoP. We were able to get all three rides booked for the afternoon easily and we got everything done in the time we had. Didn't enjoy the $31 extra per ticket but honestly made for a fun quick afternoon visit.

Saturday at MK I took the strategy some mentioned here and booked Buzz as Tier 2 at 9:00 instead of HM. We also had Tiana's at 10:00 and Pirates at 11:00. We did SM during EMM and as soon as we tapped into Buzz at 8:55 we were able to get BTMR for 9:20 and switch Pirates to SM for the evening. Felt kind of dumb booking LL for Buzz, but in the end it was the perfect strategy. Seemed like we were ahead of curve all day and ended up getting at LL for every ride at some point. Thought it was definitely worth it for us.

Sunday at HS we were fortunate to have SDD at 9:20 and then ToT and TSMM an hour after. We did RnR and MMRR during EMM. After we tapped into SDD got another RnR for the evening and ended up also getting Smuggler's Run and MMRR (but it was down almost all day). Added in Star Tours so would say it was mostly worth it.

The booking process was very easy even though we didn't get the normal 7 ahead of time. Will say didn't have as easy of time moving the times around as other past systems. Would often show nothing available to move to, but then when would redeem one it seemed to open up new options.

Not a fan of having to pay for something that was free, but given our trip was only 4 days it did seem to help get a lot more done during that time.

Actually I not only called Disney but I did the chat too, both confirmed it is based on the length of your ticket and your check in day onsite. You will not have to do it many different times. Plus many people who have already posted in here alone that they've had many split stays and they were able to book starting 7 days prior to arrival across all their reservations.

Not 7 AM, Not during at EMH but at park open if you are already in the park or when you tap into the park. You must have entered the park.

Dave
Someone reported above that they could overlap before they entered the park, which is why I was asking. What you are saying here is what I’d read previously.
