why 5:45? Is that when thrill data is reporting drops each day?Aren’t people just going to be up at 5:30 AM everyday refreshing trying to get better times for their preselects? Per thrilldata it looks like that will be the case. I have a 5-day on property trip in August. I know my preselect options on my 7 day out window are going to be garbage - especially since we only stay in park #1 until about 1:30, take a break, and then park hop. I only want early times. So 5:45 am refreshing it is.
I didn’t book arrival day. Day 2&3 were Epcot and AK. I got Remy at 9:10 on day 2. AK I got safari ar 8:20 (If we weren’t hopping later in the day I wouldn’t have gotten it for AK). Day 3 was HS and RnR was our tier 1 which is our first ride at 9:15Was that easily done for the first 3 days of your trip?
I'm going to continue messing with the app with the hope they send me the survey. I have a September stay too.So I just got a pre-arrival survey (even though we don't go until September) about the new LLMP and LLSP, nothing too interesting in it besides the fact that they saw I was messing around on MDE with LLMP on Wednesday to get an idea of availability and they had questions about that. While I know they can always be watching, I just didn't expect them to be so up front about the data they had on me!![]()
I agree people were stacking before the introduction of the modify feature. Indeed, for the first six weeks or so of Genie+, there was a loophole that allowed people to get really big stacks if they were already in the parks (you could get one at the two-hour mark AND after tapping in to any LL reservation). However, the modify feature in Genie+ was around more than a few months. It began in December 2022. (I found articles from back then describing it.)Everyone was stacking way before they allowed modifications. I never even experienced G+ after the modify feature was introduced a few months ago.
When I book at DHS, I'll select RNRC, TOT, TSM for my entire party of 4. However, I do no ride RNRC.
Should I just ring it off but not ride it? (this pains me as it prevents someone else from getting that spot)
I could replace it, but then won't that put me in the position of now trying to book 3 of the party to match whatever I got?
Do I wait for the 3 to enter the RNRC line, cancel mine, and then book something else for the 4 of us?
When does the ability to cancel end? If my return window is open, can I still cancel or modify?
Duplicate postWas that easily done for the first 3 days of your trip?
I really don't understand why SPLLs are selling out so early since that system really hasn't changed. You're now allowed to buy them 7 days in advance but the number of people who want to ride them (theoretically) hasn't changed. They must be holding some passes back? Or more people are buying SPLLs instead of MPLLs?
Guest passes are different than comp tickets (Chip and Dale). Her comp tickets can be assigned to people and they worked at 7 days out. CM's also have main gate pass with guest passes- those are the one's I am talking about. Were her tickets assigned/transferred to you in MDE? We're headed down in two weeks to visit our DD who's finishing her DCP and we plan to use her Chip and Dale tickets and wondering how this will go. Not sure if it's really worth it by reading everything here. Also wondering if we'll have the 7 day advantage by staying on site, but will have her tickets. So complicated
Agree 100% with this. If you don’t have an SPLL for Tron, GoG and TBA you are risking not being able to ride at all as no standby currently. I’m not willing to take my chances with the VQs, so will absolutely be buying the SPLL in advance for these.I have no idea BUT I can tell you my thoughts for our upcoming trips. At least for rides that have VQs, I'm more likely to buy SPLLs ahead of time since the VQ is a crapshoot.
I used to be able to try for the VQ and then if we didn't get it (or if the timing didn't seem like it would work out etc), buy the ILL. Now I run a high risk of being locked out of a ride we really want do do.
It even applies to wait times, kind of. For most of the rides for at least a good part of the day, we could decide based on...wait times, how early we wanted to get up, etc....if the ILL was worth it on that day. Now it looks like it's buy it ahead of time or deal with whatever line for however your day goes...
We were there when they eliminated that loophole. We heard about it in advance and used it our first two days. Our third day was at MK and when we tried to book another ride, my daughter said "wait, it is not letting us do it. What's going on?" A couple of hours later a TA friend texted me "hey, there are some early reports on social media this morning that the double booking loophole is gone today. Is that true?"I agree people were stacking before the introduction of the modify feature. You could do it when your first booked attraction was 2 hours after park opening. So once you got to 2hrs post opening you could book a 2nd attraction. Then when you scanned in for attraction #1, it was letting you book ANOTHER LL even though technically you weren’t supposed to be eligible. So then both of those active LL’s could be stacked. And you could do that multiple times if using the 2hr rule.We were there when they eliminated that loophole. We heard about it in advance and used it our first two days. Honestly, I don't remember how it worked, I just remember we knew how to do it back then.
Because Disney is dropping new times sporadically throughout the middle of the night. Slinky will be completely unavailable but at 5:45 AM they’ll open up a few time slots. Thrilldata is tracking. So I’m a little confused. What time can you start booking-7:00, 6:30, or earlier (am). If you can’t book until 7 why would people be refreshing at 5:45?
You can't start booking new initial LLMP pre-arrival selections until 7 AM. However if you have already purchased your 3 LLMP selections you can start refreshing based on the report by @Jellybean9 basied the Thrill Data analytics. Note this is always subject to change at any time.So I’m a little confused. What time can you start booking-7:00, 6:30, or earlier (am). If you can’t book until 7 why would people be refreshing at 5:45?
