Plagued by closed rides and technical issues

This is our second day in the parks and the number of closed attractions and technical problems is astonishing. The Mummy, Rip Rock It Ride have been closed since we got here. The Hulk is closed right now for weather but they appear to be running tests. Horror Make Up Show canceled yesterday while we were there for technical issues. And there are a number more. Is this normal for January? We have 2 more days so I’m hoping it clears up, but this is a first for me.

unfortunately, maintenance issues seem to plague the three major parks in the area for last two years.

if you are unhappy about your experience, suggest you visit guest services and share your concerns.

Enjoy the rest of your trip.

I'm here now also and I've noticed it too. It's not as bad as it was September of 2020 though! I went on a trip then and it seemed like every ride I went on broke down. Like to the point of actually getting walked off of some.

This trip seems to me to be all rude people. Parks are crowded like I knew they would be for a holiday weekend but it has been non stop line cutting and the number of people I've seen arguing with the poor team members is astounding. Most of the line cutting has been for the bathrooms cause most of the bathrooms have had a line.

Most of the arguing has been with the tms at the front of the entrances for rides but the one that took the cake was last night at transformers when we were at the point of loading and the tm told a guy he couldn't ride and he refused to get off. I'm not sure exactly what the deal was but I heard the words recent surgery in the conversation. The guys family was arguing with them too and it got so bad they had to back us all up in case it got violent. A whole group of tms had to rush to the loading platform to deal with this jerk, the whole ride was stopped and then had to be reset.

I thought the tms handled it fantastically. They stuck together as a group and they all stayed patient. All the ones getting argued with at the front of the lines have seemed very patient too. Whatever they are getting paid, it's not enough lol

I hope the technical issues are resolved before we get there. We don’t get the chance to visit very often and this will probably be our only visit to Universal for a few years.

Was getting in line for velocicoaster this afternoon and overhead one worker telling another that he's been having a hard time getting out of bed and coming to work because he's just so tired of getting yelled at by people. So incredibly sad that people are that rude and treat the workers that way.
