Places to stop from Grand Teton on I 80 to IL

Looking for quick stops along I 80.

Do you mean sights to see or places to stay?

If sights to see, pull off at Exit 86 in Iowa and go just over a mile south to view the Freedom Rock. It sits at a corner of Highway 25 and a gravel road. There is a place to park across the highway or you can park right on the edge of the road where the rock is.

We live in Illinois so have driven that route when we vacation in Colorado. I don't remember any specific stops that were worth mentioning. The areas near the Platte River and the Missouri River look very different, but both are beautiful.
I do remember the awful smell from a huge cattle ranch in Nebraska. We have photos of our kids with their faces all covered up trying to evade the stench.
