It's been 3 long years since my last WDW trip - I need some tips on good places in the parks to sit and rest.

Places where you don't have to buy something to eat or drink to sit down. ;)

I have MS and I need those frequent breaks - all suggestions are welcome - all the parks please. :)

There are lots of places outside where you can sit and rest without having to purchase anything. Lots in Epcot. A few in the Magic Kingdom as well!! You'll see. Have a great trip!!:thumbsup2

There are certain rides I hit when I need a break, but it depends on wait times (otherwise it defeats the purpose). In Epcot, either El Rio del Tempo (or whatever it's called) in Mexico or Spaceship Earth. In MGM, the Great Movie Ride. Not so much in Magic Kingdom, but there seem to be a lot of places to sit and rest. Don't spend a lot of time at Animal Kingdom, so I don't usually need a rest. Sometimes the "shows" are a good spot, as long as they're not in high demand with a long wait time. This plan doesn't work when there are huge demands for the attractions.

plenty of out of the way benches and places to have a little rest bfore resuming your journey. Some of my favorites are the rose garden in MK, the littel alcove's in MK (near Crystal Palace, between the lavatories on Main Street, and down the "side streets off Main Street"
Epcot--there are benches just about everywhere.
AK pretty much the same--lots of beautiful out of the way places that are shaded
MGM--many benches on the main thouroughfare and lots of little hidden spaces as well--lots of tables around the lagoon as well.

I enjoy some time off my feet and have e few:
Small World
TTA
Spaceship Earth
Train

And my favorite is a bookstore in MGM that is air conditioned and has comfortable easy chairs and a VERY comfy couch ( I took a refreshing nap on this) It is located behind the Star Wars attraction.
Enjoy

While Liberty is under refurb, they've set up a little patio there with tables and chairs. We ate our lunch there everyday. It has a nice view of Tom Sawyer island and a nice breeze. You can also often get a rocking chair in front of Liberty Tree Tavern. We waited for the 3 pm parade there and then just stood up at parade time.

Our fav is in Epcot, in France....the tables are there for the bakery but if there are a lot of tables available we sit an relax for a bit.
