Places to eat

Nobody would care if you share. It is cs, not ts. we get one chicken meal and share it between two adults and a baby.

What are some of the better counter service restaurants in both parks? We will be at each park for one day this summer....first time for us to visit Disneyland area also....thanks.
We absolutely love the wharf area in DCA. The Asian salad in the sourdough breadbowl is one of my must-haves at least once every trip. LOVE it! We also had some teriyaki from a different place in that same area that was pretty tasty. The corndogs in both parks are amazing--cart at the end of Main Street in DL and corn dog hut on Paradise Pier in DCA.

Great thread getting some getting some great ideas.

I don't mean to thread jack but that Plaza inn looks like a good option I'm considering for my group of 2 adults 6 kids. I had a question about the fried chicken is it frowned on if I were to get that three piece chicken dinner and split it between two kids? It looks good but too much chicken for 1 kid, so I was wondering what the thoughts were on that.

Thanks

DH and I get one order of fried chicken and split it! It's plenty of food for the two of us to share and neither of us has ever walked away hungry.

That's where I was confused I read somewhere that you needed reservations and thought it was Table service.

Also, the Plaza Restaurant at WDW IS table service and you can make ADRs for that one. I found that one especially confusing in my WDW research since our Plaza at DL is counter service for dinner. But, as @Aladora says, it's table service for the character breakfast so that may be doubly confusing. At any rate, I really like the chicken and agree that no one will mind if you split your plate.
