Places for Dinner near Gaylord Palms Resort (Tuesday night)?

Got this resort on Priceline (unfortunately) and I'm assuming the in-hotel restaurants will be priced quite high. Does anyone have experience with any other options (healthy food, moderately priced) nearby?

Well the Gaylord Palms is located just off of 192, a major tourist haven with tons of shops and restaurants. Check it out on Google maps, you're bound to find something you'll enjoy, but a heads up, most are chains. May I ask why you're unhappy about getting Gaylord Palms? It's one of the best hotels in Orlando IMHO.

It's just that I was hoping to be closer to Universal as I am planning to be there quite early the next morning to check in and see Harry Potter.

We're planning to do whatever the hotel has to offer during the late afternoon and night, though. Do you have recommendations in that regard?

Thanks for your response. I was not aware that there were a lot of choices near this hotel as I'd read that it's very far out from Disney/Universal unlike a lot of the other major hotels.

logan's roadhouse is on 192 make a left out of gaylord its on the right across from walgreens same lot as publix

the gaylord (it is a beautiful hotel)is only about a 10 minute drive to disney lots of dining at downtown disney you can also go to old town on 192 turn left on 192 or celebration make a right than a left at the next light

You made a really good choice to get the Gaylord. It is one of the best hotels in the area. It is not that far from Universal, especially since you are going early the I-4 trip should be easy.

There are many restaurants close to the hotel and, as others have said, they are chains. Enjoy your visit.
