Placeholder questions??

We booked two placeholder cabins when we were on board back in January. I'm kinda panicking because I don't remember getting anything from Disney. When I check my emails I don't see anything either. But when we received the email yesterday announcing the New Itineraries it said "the reservation you made on board is still on hold" I signed into my Castaway Club account and don't see anything showing I have a placeholder (but not sure where to look anyways) I was looking for the RULES for this type of placeholder but without anything from Disney I can't find it.

So questions:
Can I only access these by calling MS?

Is there a limit on how these are applied? Blackout dates? IF so how do I find them?

Is there a limit on the sailing dates? For instance if I want to do the 5 night out of Miami will I still get 10% off and a $200 credit or does it have to be a 7 night cruise.

Is there anyway to be logged into the discount and shop the cruises? I used to be able to do that but we had actually booked a room and date on previous cruises so it was as simple as just going online and changing the dates to see new prices with discount.

Thank you!

You should be able to see your placeholders online through the Castaway Club members site. However, you will need to call to use it as it can't be changed online.

OBBs are subject to blackout dates. Here's a link to the latest list: http://disneycruiselineblog.com/cruise-planning/itineraries/onboard-booking-blockout-sailings/

Some OBB benefits such as reduced deposit and OBC are dependent on the length of cruise you end up taking. Cruises of 7+ nights receive a $200 OBC while shorter cruises get $100.

Placeholders must be used within 24 months of when first booked onboard. So if you first made your placeholder this past January 2016, you will need to sail by that month/day in 2018.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you so much! Ill look closer to that on the website. One question is that we booked two placeholder cabins. One under my husbands CC # and one under mine. Can we use them for two different cruises? We originally thought we would be booking one cruise later this year with my parents but now we think well just do two on our own. Do I have to book the two cabins on the same cruise?

No, you can't use these for 2 different cruises, assuming you and your husband live in the same house. When you're onboard, each adult household can get full on-board booking discounts for 2 cabins for the same cruise. Since you and husband are same household, then your 2 cabins have to be the same cruise. If for example, you were cruising with your Mother and you have different households, then you could book 2 cabins for a cruise, and your Mom could book 2 cabins for another cruise.
