Placed my Albertsons Order

You can place your order 24 hours to 7 days in advance. I placed mine online today for delivery Sunday. VERY easy...all you do is pick a delivery time and select your groceries!

Albertsons does charge a fee of around $10, but they have later delivery times than Vons. I just scheduled my delivery for this Sunday between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. Very convenient. I have read from other posters that the front desk of some hotels will hold your groceries if you let them know in advance.

Albertson's charges $9.95 to deliver. We won't have a car while we're down there so this will be worth it for us. We like to have things like milk, soda and beer in the room. Also snacks and fruit.

I'm going in May and just this morning set up my account there to be ready. I'm glad you posted this because I was just wondering if I could place the order before I actually leave home, and I will! That'll just make it so much easier.

Looks like all of the questions have been answered. When I made my reservation DGC said there was no problem doing this and they would hold them there. I scheduled the delivery 6:30 - 8:30 also! I think that the $9.95 fee is really reasonable...it would cost much more in a cab. Not to mention cutting into my disney time!! Water and diapers were my main reason for ordering ahead of time.

Often you can get a coupon for your 1st delivery free... sign up, and then don't place your order for a couple days, you may get a coupon in your inbox! Plus, remember in CA you can have alcohol delivered from the grocery store too... so if you want to make a drink after the kids go to bed....

If you order alcohol for delivery, do you have to be there for delivery or will the front desk sign for it? At WDW you had to be present to sign for beer

We ordered beer in Oct at DLH, and the bell captain signed for us... no problem.

Can you tell me what the delivery windows were? Were they 3 or 4 hours? Do you know the earliest and latest delivery times available. I just got off the phone with their customer service dept and did not get ONCE question of mine answered. She didn't understand anything I asked. Soooooooo frustrating!

I think both vons and albertsons have 2 or 4 hour delivery windows... starts pretty early in the morning (maybe 7??) and goes till like 9 at night... We did vons, and picked a 2 hour window 6-8 pm... there was also a 7-9 pm window, but I was afraid they'd show up right at nine when we were going to sleep! Vons also lets you book 2 weeks out, and Alberstons just 1 week out, but on a lot of stuff albertsons is less expensive.

I want to say if you do vons and pick a 4 hr window the delivery fee is less than a 2 hr window... but we had the no fee coupon code...

I'm so confused about what we should do about our delivery.
We arrive in at 9:30am....so we'd be at the hotel by 10:30. Check in is not until 3pm BUT if our room is available we can check in early. I'd love to have our groceries delivered early that day so we don't have to lose out on much time in the park or have our stuff delivered at the end of our second day. Kinda defeats the purpose ya know. Decisions decisions.

Albertsons' delivery window is 1.5 hours and Von's is 2 hours. Albertson's delivers on Sat. and Sun. after 4 p.m., I could never establish that Von's could deliver after this time.

They have a good bakery at Albertsons too. I ordered my son's birthday cake from there in December. It was very good, a lot better than the cake we got the previous year at Disneyland, plus it was significantly cheaper.
