PJ's at a hotel...appropriate?

LOL, me too. Actually, I do that alot, in jammies and in just shorts and t-shirt. When I am on vacation, I am relaxing and not worrying about what others think.

Exactly! I also have been known to throw my swimsuit on and head to the pool without a cover-up.....I thought that was the norm. :confused3 Apparently, here on the DIS, that is a big no-no. A well-bred DISer should always wear a cover-up. ;) :teeth:

Really? I didn't know that about having to wear a cover up. Always learning something new on the Dis.

Well, that's 2 fashion faux pas in one thread

I wouldn't, but it would not bother me if others did it.

Same here. I usually wear my jammies WITH flip flops but I have been known to *gasp* go bare foot!!!! :bitelip:

Oh, Good grief Woman....barefoot????? Don't you know how germy and unsanitary hotel carpet is???? :confused3 I hope you disinfect/sandblast your piggies before you climb into bed :teeth:

Not to worry - I bathe the pigs last thing before going to bed! :thumbsup2 It is probably all for naught......because I sleep under that filthy comforter. :teeth:

But first you must take off the comforter and change the sheets with the ones you brought from home. :rotfl:

If I were in a neglige or something risque - I wouldn't have to leave the room. :rotfl2:

HOWEVER - since the last few times I was in a hotel, I was with DD - my pjs are usually a cute short set. I could wear them out of the room & no one would no that they are PJ's.

That said - I leave them on.

I go on vacation to NOT have to clean... :teeth: And the callouses on the bottom of my feet protect me from all the germs on the carpet. :teeth:

I know....I'm such a bad example. :sad2: I even sit straight on the toilet seat, never bother to hover - just plop right on down. :sad2: :sad2: :teeth:

:scared1: ...as for the nasty comforter, I'll give ya $5 to lick it :lmao:

I have no problem with it. We are pretty lax when traveling. We eat things we never woiuld at home, we refuse to dress up and we throw the kids in the pool once a day and call it vacation bath. :teeth:

OMG, that reminds me of when the grandmother offers Rusty a quarter to rub her bunions (National Lampoons Christmas Vacation)

OK but for $20 bucks you have to whip up something pretty special in your crockpot AND make a grilled cheese sandwich with an iron :lmao:

Sorry OP, it's just one of those nights  :rotfl:
