But will these pizzas be the standard Disney cardboard quick-serve garbage or is it a real pizzeria with actual dough being tossed??

that's the real question. I was hoping for flatbread, like they did with Pinnochio's at MK

So it reopened as the exact same menu as Pizza Planet? It was basically just a theming refurbishment? Pizza Planet was awful so expect this to be as well.

I have always been under the impression from what I have read/heard, that it will be the same as Pizza Planet, just re-themed. Still a QS pizza place.

Agreed, I was just a bit thrown off by people asking if the pizza/menu would be different or better. Doesn't sound like it if they didn't vary the menu at all. Expect the same nasty pizza that was there before!

Thanks so much for posting this! We are excited to try it on our trip in Dec. Nice to see they have a salad with the pizza!

I'd be shocked if hand tossed... there is no way to keep up the volume of an in-park qs restaurant serving only pizza.

Not holding out much hope for an improved pizza. Will be pleasantly surprised if it is.

That menu does not look promising. I was hoping for flatbreads like Pizzafari in AK. I had their flatbread Mediterranean Pizza in Sept & it was very good & tasty with different fresh toppings. I had read over the summer (maybe from Josh?) that the word was flatbread. Guess that info was wrong.

Random question for anyone who's been to Pizza Planet with a milk allergy..what was offered? I've had the meatball sub minus the cheese at Pizzafari before.

Yes appears to be same exact Menu. I miss the Studio Catering co. I feel like out of all the parks, Hollywood studios has the least appealing quick service menus unfortunately.

They can normally do pizza with Follow Your Heart vegan cheese or no cheese if that helps. Takes about 15 mins to prepare.

Disney just can't win. If they keep the same menu, they lose and if they change the menu, they still lose.:sad2:
They can easily win by listening to what people actually want. If they changed menus that people didn't like & made no changes to menus that were favorites, there would be no issue. Hilariously, they always seem to do the opposite.

I'm glad the menu is the same, I love the meatball sandwich and antipasto salad. The sandwich (at Pizza Planet) tasted the same as the one at Mama Melrose, for a fair bit less. I don't have issues with the pizza, it's not on par with Mama Celest, thats cardboard.
