Saw your header and I, too, am planning a girls' trip with my best friend from childhood.
The last trip I went to WDW in 2014 - I had a few days with just my daughter and I before my husband joined us. The few days we were there just the two of us, we had two Princess meals (1900 Park Faire and Akershus Royal Banquet) and spent two back to back days at AK because it was my daughter's favorite park. My daughter was ten at the time.
It was nice to have a couple of relaxing days just the two of us - with a slower pace than normal. I just tailored the trip to her wishes - We loved doing the princess meal and going on the Little Mermaid ride.
This time my girls' trip will be just my best friend and I. We have been best friends since fifth grade and are now in our sixties. We are a perfect pair to go to an amusement park together since neither one of us like the big thrill rides. I am looking for ideas. But we probably will spend most of the trip on a leisurely pace. She has been to WDW more recently with her family and grandchild.
