Pizzeria Coming?

Don't know if it's ok to mention another site but read a Pizzeria is coming to Italy.
Personally I think it's great news. I think Disney does a great job at varity of food choice but has always lacked on good quality pizza.
I hope they serve a varity of styles of pizza.
Like New York, Chicago deep Dish. Cal thin crust. ect.
Can't wait to try it.

Not even going to assume that this might be good pizza. I'll be happier if I assume it's going to be the same old Disney pizza and it turns out to be different.

Sounds like it's going to be called Naples 45, and it's a chain.

Their pizza is very good! Not your normal Disney pizza. I have it everytime I go to Disneyland.

I've eaten at the Naples Ristorante in Disneyland's Downtown Disney before. This should make the people who love a good thin crust pizza very happy. I was hoping for more of a Roman al taglio-style pizzeria, personally. Either way, it's still nice that there will be a new draw in the Italy pavilion.

Here is the dinner menu from Naples 45 website. On the lower right hand side you can see that it says Disneyland and Disneyworld. It's a nice preview of what's to come.

I would think it likely, although it will apparently be run by a third party, not Disney.

There is only one restaurant inside a theme park that does not accept DDP (Bistro de Paris).

I looked at the menu and I can't imagine paying $35 for a pizza. That seems extremely high. I also don't see a plain pepperoni pizza. The only thing I see is a spicy pepperoni and I can't eat anything spicy. Oh well. I'll continue going off property to Flippers for my pizza.

17 Bucks seems a little steep for a 10" pie. Hope the prices are a little better. There isn't anything worse than going to a pizza place and droppin $50 for pizza. I think I will Pass.

Having eaten pizza in Naples, Italy, I would love to see traditional pizza served at the World!

But of course, people will complain that they don't have just plain old pizza....... I would be happy to see the food quality come back up again and this would be a great indication that it would.

FYI, Naples45 is a FULL SERVICE, SIT DOWN restaurant at Downtown Disney. Located adjacent to it is "Napolini", which is a CS pizzeria. They serve pizzas there BY THE SLICE only, and have calzones as well. The pizza flavors are cheese, pepperoni (regular), and a "white" pizza. They are $5 for a slice. The slices are HUGE. They also have a small selection of salads, fruit bowls, and cold sandwiches. In addition, they offer three types of panini sandwiches that you can have cold or "hot pressed". They sell garlic knots as well, with marinara dipping sauce. There are also some desserts available, in individual servings: chocolate mousse, tiramisu cup, and cheesecake. The prices here are reasonable.

Since Tutto Italia is ALREADY in existence as a full service dining location, more likely this "pizzeria" will be like Napolini...a walk up CS with some outdoor seating, similar to Downtown Disney.

And, the $35 pizzas that they sell in the TS restaurant...they are HUGE!!! Seriously, can feed like 6 people...and, they are very, VERY good.

Also, FYI, the pizzas they sell are made with REAL whole milk mozzarella cheese, a nice thin and crispy Neapolitan crust, and a light tomato basil sauce. Excellent stuff...NOT your regular old "Disney" pizza.
