Where can I find a pizzelle iron? Is your brand a good one? I am looking for a pizzelle iron which makes semi thin pizzelles as opposed to thicker ones. I had a pizzelle chef but only can find cuisinart and villa ware now? Any opinions on either one?

A few years ago I bought a Villa Ware Waffle Maker; Sandwich Maker, Pizzelle maker, it had interchangeable plates. I bought it because it was $7 at Carson's normally like $60 and I needed an extra Waffle maker for a big event. Fast-forward to this past Fall and the great purge of my kitchen, also known as getting rid of all the duplicates.

I listed it on a local online garage sale site and I had like 20 people want it (which is pretty rare). The first woman who responded drove 1 hour to my house to pick it up. She bought it to make Pizzelle's and was so happy with it she sent me follow up emails after making the Pizzelle's.

So I never used it, but once owned a Villa Ware one, and the lady who gave me $5 was crazy happy with her purchase. I was happy to get the shelf space.

William and Sonoma carries a good one, sorry I don't have the name brand.

I have this one:

Not sure if there are different models of Villa Ware one, but the one I have makes pretty thin ones. Very thin as compared to, say, ones I see at the grocery store. Almost, but not quite as thin, as the ones my friend makes with her mother's pizzelle maker. (Last year she bought a 2nd identical one, I know she paid over $100 on ebay, not sure the brand.)

I've had mine for about 10 years now and just love it. And everyone raves about my pizzelles! :goodvibes

I have the Palmer Pizzelle Maker Model #3356, I used it for the first time this year. My family got it for me from Fante's in South Philadelphia but they have a website:
http://fantes.com/pizzelle.html

The recipe I used makes thick cookies and my iron also makes thick cookies. Before I ordered mine, I called Fantes and they were a great help!

I have the Villaware one that used to be carried at Williams Sonoma (from my wedding, so a few years back).

Love it. My mother has a much older Villaware one as well that she still uses.

I have the Villaware one too and just love it!!! Nice and thin:thumbsup2
