Neither for me as I despise cheese. Dd considers it a snack and DH considers it lunch.

A meal.

I consider a snack something I could potentially eat with a meal, a side dish if you will, like a piece of fruit, some crackers, pretzels, yogurt, or veggies dipped in hummus. Any of those things can be eaten with a meal. I would not eat a meal with pizza on the side.

I think of pizza as being a meal. Too filling to count as a snack.

Usually as a meal. However, I’ve heard of some that were cur into hors d’ouevres. I recall going to a chain pizza place call Sir Pizza. They cut into little rectangles that would be perfect for that.

I’ve worked with Italian who told me that there literally are pizza food carts in Italy and that one can even get pizza for breakfast.

Both. Friday night is our pizza night usually, homemade including the bases.

I am at this point sick of pizza

Isn't that against the law? If it isn't, it should be... :-)

I spent my late high school and early college years working in the pizza business...over the course of 4 or 5 years I worked for Pizza Hut, Dominos and did some "side work" at Little Caesars. I had pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Decades later, I still love it. I am very much into health and nutrition now, so I don't eat "real" pizza often...only as part of my rotation for my weekly cheat meal. In fact, I may eat it tonight. Mmmmmmm....pizza.... I still eat a homemade version of pizza every weekend if I can though. I take a high fiber, low carb wrap and toast it lightly. Spread low calorie pizza sauce on it, and a light layer of part skim mozzarella. Throw a few onions or maybe a little turkey sausage on top. Toast it again and voila...tasty lunch.

I think it's a meal. We had it last night. Funny thing is that I was soooo craving it after being on weight watchers for a week. I saved up my extra points and soooooo wanted pizza and it was sooooo good. But when I am not dieting, pizza is the last thing I want. Strange.

At about 300 calories per slice....or more depending on toppings.......from a calorie standpoint pizza is a meal.

Pizza is a meal. A snack is to hold you over to the next meal. If you are filling the space between mealtimes with pizza, it's time to reevaluate your life.

If you have meals that are only 300 calories, I sure hope you're eating 8-10 meals per day. :D

But yes, to me it's a meal because when I eat pizza I eat several slices, along with fries, etc...

Could be either. Flatbreads to share are especially appetizerish to me. Usually a meal though.

The PP that talked about the pizza with the fig jam made my mouth water and due to scheduling poop pizza isn't an option for me today...so sad.

A meal. I now have a craving for my favorite prosciutto pizza with balsamic cherries and arugula. Unfortunately, I have already shopped for the week and that was not on the menu at the time, next week though!!!

Pizza is
Breakfast (of champions)
Second Breakfast
elevenzies.
Lunch
Twozies (or 14zies for you 24 hour clock types)
Afternoon tea
Dinner
Supper
late night snack.

That just about covers it.

I'll pass on the poop pizza.

To me, it is a meal. Not a snack. I wouldn't even think to have a slice between meals as a snack. Pizza rolls = snack. Pizza = meal. :)

We had Ledo Pizza last weekend. I ate 6 pieces. :D

Lord no. I try to stay in the 2,000 to 2,500 range........I'd weigh 900 pounds if I age 10 300 calorie meals a day.
