Pizza Ponte In Disney Springs (soft opens)

What do my DISers day? I guess since I’m from New York where (arguably I know) they might have some of the best pizza in the world, and for a decent price too this comes off as a rip off...?? $7 dollars for a slice of pizza?

I guess Disney prices and all that but at Blaze Pizza across the way you can get a prettt decently sized personal pizza for $10.

Perhaps I’ll try it out but for anyone who’s in the area who loves to try new things it’s opened!

Tim Tracker ate there in a vlog. He said the pizza was cold - they don’t reheat it before serving it like a lot of similar places do. No personal experience there but that alone would keep me away unless I hear otherwise in the future. Plus the $7/slice aspect.

From the photos it looks larger than a regular slice. But if it doesn't get reheated
that will be a no for me.

The square pie pizzas I saw on other sites looked interesting. Seemed to have more options than tomato and cheese. But not if they aren't hot. ( I really dislike lukewarm pizza).

It was subpar pizza, I’ve had better pizza at mom and pop places all over Orlando. It’s for the price I’d rather go to Blaze or Splittsville and have had hot pizza.

I’m from NYC. My kids love Blaze pizza. I like that it’s quick and inexpensive. It’s not amazing, but we think it’s some of the best in Disney.

I was looking forward to trying Pizza Ponte, but not if the pizza is cold. Wonder if you can wait for a hot fresh pie to come out of the oven?

That’s good to know!

We’ve been to the Blaze in Paramus, NJ and Williamsburg, VA. Both very good. It’s nice having a chain you can rely on for good, inexpensive food.
