Pizza Planet - When do the airlock doors open?

Hi all

I may be getting a little excited (first trip) but I see from the DLRP iPhone app that Pizza Planet is closed.

My little one is totally TS mad, and Pizza Planet is an essential visit for us (rubbish food or not)

Does anyone know how long it will be closed for? We are booked to arrive 19th May (I know long way away)

Sorry if this has been asked before or there is an easy way of finding out, but I'm a first timer

According to another forum, they're refitting some of the kitchen and it'll be open again in May/June. Other people seem to think that they're changing the whole place and that it could be shut for a year.

Hopefully it'll be open for your visit.

It'd be nice if we got something similar to the version at WDW. The building ours is in was meant as a temporary tent and has well outlasted it's expected life.

I hope it is open in July, my 4 y.o is Buzz mad and we are going for his bday. They spend more time playing than eating, but nevermind.

I didn't know Pizza Planet was closed We had planned to eat there, by request of the kids, when we go in a couple of weeks, they're gonna be disappointed too!

I also now have to think of where else we can eat, which opens another can of worms! I thought I had my plan in place, now I have to sort through all the options!! Plaza? Blue Lagoon? Toad Hall? Silver Spur? too many good places to choose from!! decisions decisions mmmmmmm lol

Totally agree! too many yummy places and too little time! lol

I thought I had my plan in place, but now pizza planet is closed it throws my plans up in the air again, as I need somewhere to replace Pizza Planet. I dunno where to choose though, they all look sooooo good!

I was gutted that it was closed last wkend

the food is actually ok in there IMO,and the decor / feel of the place generally is fab ( if a bit cold / dark )

ate there in oct but didn't take any pics as camera was dead! so was looking forward to taking pics this trip!

I chose Mickey's cafe, Rainforest cafe, Walts, King Ludwig's castle, Cowboy cookout, Annette's and something in studios....

We were disappointed to find it shut and ended up at Plaza Gardens (which we had never eaten at before-but will definitely go to again because it was brilliant). I asked at City Hall and they said it would probably open again in June. I hope the changes are good. My 2 loved this restaurant as it was.

This was the same as us in November, we are going back in June and Plaza Gardens has been requested again

Hi all

Sorry to resurrect a old thread but trying to finish my trip plan (will be there this time next week!!)

I have rechecked the iPhone app and Pizza Planet is showing as bing open!!!!

Can anyone confirm this that has been there recently? Will save me a costly call to Paris to find out.

Our little Buzz will be overjoyed if he can eat here.

Id really like to know this, I read on another forum it was closed until June and we are due to go 5th -10th of June. It would probably be my son's favourite place to eat. He's watching Toy Story 3 as I type for the millionth time!

If anyone finds out or spots it can they please let us all know!

Someone on the DCP forum has eaten there this month, so it is open, for lunch only it seems.

Looks like its a buffet with drinks included.

Yay!!!!

This was on my first itinerary before it was closed (until June I thought) so now it's open - brilliant!!! DD really wants to eat there and it's been closed on ALL our previous trips!! (including my honeymoon nearly 11 years ago!)
