I've never been to Disney World & am curious about Pizza Planet.
Does it have one of those mechanical grabber machines with Little Green Men in it & if so, can you actually do it or is it just for decoration?
If you can do it, how much does it cost & does it take quarters/ coins, etc?

TIA~

It was on the lower level of PP, we have a pic of it from the second floor dining area. We never went downstairs to check it out, so I'm not sure if you could actually play it.

Pizza planet is a good place to eat! I found it to be quite economical between my daughter and I, we were able to split a value meal and just buy a drink for her.

Thank you so much for your info. Also, if anyone knows if you can actually get LGM from this machine, that would also be appreciated. My son is a huge Toy Story fan. We're leaving next week and would like to know if we should bring tons of quarters for the machine. :earsboy:

Thanks!

 Oh my!!

As for PP, I too would love to know if they can get LGM! If no one knows, maybe you could post when you get back LilBoPeep!
We leave in Feb. and I have 2 ToyStory fans who have declared PP a MUST! They have already asked if they can get little green aliens to bring home! ;)

They do have a machine that looks like the one from Toy Story, but unfortunately it is filled with "generic" green alien men, not the three eyed aliens from the movie. I believe it costs a dollar (or four tokens) per play. There are also a bunch of other games to spend you money on as well.

I don't think the machines will take actual quarters, but you can cash your quarters in for tokens at a different machine.

There were no LGM when we were there. I didn't think it was very much like Pizza Planet in the movie. It wasn't what I expected.

You can get personal sized pizza and salads, and play a few over priced arcade games.

The lower level of Pizza Planet has several games to play. They also have a penny pressing machine. They have a "wack a mole" type game that feature Woody & Buzz. There are motorcycle games, video/arcade games and the famed "crane games". There is a giant spaceship crane game and there were generic LGMs inside for winning. But more importantly (to us) was the photo op. We took pictures inside Pizza Planet near the spaceship crane game.

As previously posted, there are personal sized pizzas. You cannot get any other size (which we were hoping you could get a large pizza instead of five personals). However, one thing we splurged for were the official Pizza Planet Mugs. Since we're huge TS fans, it was a must in our opinions.

When our trip was all over, we had SO many mugs/cups. We had them from Pizza Planet, from AKL, from Pincess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot, Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe.

So many cups, so little storage.

For those of you who have already eaten at Pizza Planet, how many slices of pizza do you actually get with your personal pizza? I'll be going on our first trip to WDW next month (I'm so excited to actually say "next month"):hyper: and I have a DD (6) and DS (3) who doesn't eat much and was hoping they could split a meal.

Thanks!

The pizza is cut into 4 pieces. It is not too big but my DS6 never finishes all his. Plus you get a salad and a drink with the combo meal. As for the little green men I am not too sure about that. I don't think they were the same ones that were in the movie. But, I could be wrong!!

We were disappointed that there were no LGM. Like the OP said, it's stuffed green aliens that look nothing like LGM. That's really a shame, Disney could make a fortune if they had real Little Green Men.

The pizzas have 4 small slices. It's more than enough for an adult & a small child to share one pizza in my opinion.

I highly recommend the character meals also! We ate at Cinderella's Royal Table, The Garden Grill at Epcot, and twice at Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom. This is so much fun if you have kids!!
