Hi, I just read a post about Pizza Planet at MGM not having kid's meals. We were planning on eating there next week. I have 2 DD's on the meal plan, does that mean only the adults can use the DDP there? If that's true, that is ridiculous! (Thanks!)

When we went last yr they had personal pizzas that were reasonably priced. I dont recall if there were kids meals. here is the link

If they wont honor it why not get them the pizza there for cash and use thier points for another meal later?

How about, hey we paid for a meal plan, and our kids should be able to get food at ANY restaurant in Disney?? If there is only one menu at a restaurant, then they should take adult and child credits there.

OP, hopefully someone will answer your question. My family has never eaten there so I can't help.

It wouldnt be *difficult to use cash for the kids at a CS, but at Pizza Planet??????? No kids CS makes no sense at all. :confused3 If thats true, than I bet it will be changed, and soon!:rolleyes1

When we ate there last summer we were charged for 5 meals, I was told it didn't matter adult/child there, everyone got one meal from our card. We had 2 adults, 3 children and used 5 CS credits at the same time. This is a favorite for my kids, we plan to go back next month.

Lack of a childrens menu doesn't mean children can't get a meal at a particular location, like Pizza Planet. Children have to order off of children's menus when available. If there is no children's menu available they order off the regular menu.

If they do add a kids menu, it will probably be pb & j or mac and cheese. That is what it is at Pizzafari - no pizza for kids.

as a couple of above posters have said......if there is a kids menu, they must order from that....if not, kids order from the adult menu.
which is the case at pizza planet.....there is 1 menu for both kids and adults to order from.
we just ate there 2 weeks ago, and we all got pizzas, salads, and a huge cookie.

as far as pizzafari, i couldn't believe we got there and my dd couldn't have pizza.....AT A PIZZA PLACE!!
sorry, but i cheated, and ordered her a personal pizza! she was holding a table with dh and they had no idea....
i think disney needs to at least have the type of food that the restaurant is known for on the kids menus.....alot of places don't.

If there is no child's menu, they can order off the rest of the menu....I've been specifically looking for restaurants with no children's menu in order to give DS more of a choice. I've also been told when I called the number to make advance reservations in case someone doesn't know that on the buffets even if there is a children's buffet section with "kid friendly" choices that they are welcome to chose from the "adult" buffet in that case also.

Just wanted to add that with the Pizza Planet combos -- personal size pizza and a salad -- you may want to split one between two kids (or between an adult and a child). It's a lot of food, especially if you add in the dessert. We ate at PP in 04 and had way too much food. Not planning on revisiting (um, not the best pizza I've ever eaten) but if we did, we'd share.

No doubt they do this because all the pizzas are the same size. They don't make a smaller portion of pizza.

In Oct we had no problem ordering a pizza, salad, dessert and drink for my children and using the appropriate credits. Like some of the others have said, when available they must order from the children's menu but when there is no special menu shown they can still use one of their credits for their meal. I was confused at first, it was our first day at the World, a CM heard me talking to my friend and kindly cleared up my confusion.

I wonder if we need to stop talking about pizza planet before disney hears us and adds a stupid kids menu!!!!
