Pizza on DDP

Anybody know if you can get a full size large pizza somewhere like Landscape of Flavors (Art of Animation) as a quick service meal? For some reason, I was previously under the impression you could, but now I don't see any evidence of this. (Maybe something changed, since Disney has definitely been looking for money saving opportunities.)

Oh, Disney wouldn't kill the DDP pizza. That was a profit center of mass proportions.

I believe it is 2QS credits for a pizza when you order it at the QS, and I think it comes with beverage. Delivery is 2TS credits. Massive profit for Disney, either way. Not a money saver for a user in either case.

Did you check the menu over at allears? They tend to tell you how many credits are needed on the dining plan:

According to Allears, "You CAN use the Dining Plan for this delivery service. TWO Adult Table Service credits will be deducted to purchase one large pizza, two desserts, and two 20-oz bottles of soda." This is for both Art of Animation and Pop Century.

However, I know you can get a large pizza with 2 non-alcoholic beverages for 2 quick service meal credits if you actually go to the food court (not delivered).

Looks like another case of hard to find/verify information. I've seen several people in forums over the years mention the 2 QS credit pizza, but I can't find anywhere that Disney mentions anything other the the delivery service for 2 TS credits, which I'm not interested in, mostly since I don't have TS credits.
I have the summer quick service meal promo, which gives each person one QS meal per day. Compared to the regular summer deal, it came out to 7 something per meal more. (It seemed like a glitch, but I verified it multiple times.) So while the pizza deal isn't great, it's something we'd normally get without the plan, and it still saves us a little money.

Bad value even if it's possible. QS credits are valued at around $19 her meal. Pizza is around $18 (less for plain.)

Are they joking?? 2 TS credits for PIZZA DELIVERY????????????? Wow, that is the worst use of DP credits i've ever seen in my life. And yes, allears confirms this...it is in fact 2 TS credits for pizza delivery. If it were 2 QS credits, that would be fine. But 2 TS credits??????? Your better off paying for it cash to be honest. What a ripoff!

It isn't full size, buy large enough for more than one person for sure: WPE in DS. A much better use than the delivery!

No kidding! For them to charge the same for a box of pizza/drinks/dessert as they would for one adult to eat at a signature restaurant its completely ridiculous.

I think the ONLY time it would be a consideration was if it was too close to midnight to drag the family alllllllllllllll the way to the food court, if you hadn't been able to stop and eat something else after a long day...
Totally taking advantage of people's lack of planning!

That's why I don't believe they'll have "ended it to save money." As value goes on DDP, this is terrible.

Even a free credit is wasted here...

The whole family doesnt need to be dragged all the way to the food court. Send the mom or dad! It only takes one person to carry a pizza. And in this instance, i'd still suggest paying cash.

The only time I would agree that using 2 TS makes sense were if you were literally flying back home the next day, and you had 2 TS credits leftover on the DP and knew you werent leaving the resort. Then, and only then, would it make sense to use 2 TS credit for pizza delivery.

You really get a kick out of nitpicking everything people say....you did it twice to me on two different threads. YES its the same pizza, obviously. I think that's quite clear to everyone. And YES its suppose to feed at least two people, again, quite obvious. Thank you for stating the obvious. I don't believe I was arguing that it doesn't feed two people was I? And you're pointing out something else we're all very well aware of...the fact that its two TS credits per person. My point was its ridiculous that they're charging two TS credits for pizza delivery. QS makes more sense. But TS?? Just no. That was my point.

That makes more sense....2 QS credits is a decent value on the DP. Allears needs to correct the information on their website...or perhaps something has changed and it really is 2 TS credits now.

I don't think it changed. As of yesterday, every source I checked indicated two TS credits for the room service pizza. Sources included the DIS, and the official Disney site, among others.
