Pizza at the Poly?

I don't know if this is a "resort" question or a "dining" question, but I thought I would start here....

Is it possible to have a pizza delivered to your room at the Poly? I see that the mods and value resorts specifically offer pizza delivery, but the deluxes don't seem to? Is there a pizza option as part of their in-room dining menu? I suppose I could try to find a pizza hut/papa john's if they don't, but it would be a lot easier, I think, to get it from the resort.

Yes! They have HUGE pizzas thru in-room dining. You must be able to pick them up at Capt. Cook's too (although I do not know this for sure) b/c I always see families walking around with these large pizza boxes...

They have in room service or you can go to Captain Cooks where they have flatbread pizza, which is really good IMO.

Sounds like the flatbread pizzas are yummy.... but are they kid friendly? If I plunk one down in front of my 4 year old and my 2 year old, will they look at it skeptically and decline to eat? And is it big enough to serve both of them?

I would say they are kid friendly and is big enough for them to share. You can get the Traditional which comes with marinara sauce and mozzarella with pepperoni, or the Hawaiian which comes with ham golden pineapple, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan. Besides that also have a Flatbread of the Day. So if your kids like regular pepperoni pizza the Traditional is just like it, with the difference being it comes on a flatbread and not regular crust.

We stayed at Poly Club level december 2005 and ordered room service pizza the last night and it was large and very good (pepperoni). I don't know the newer flat bread...

The Hawaiian flatbread from Captain Cooks is absolutely my favorite pizza on property.

How big is the pizza? How many would it serve? I see on the dining plan it seems to cost 2 adult meals.
