How is the pizza that can be ordered for delivery at OKW? Thanks!

We have had the pizza delivery at OKW in the past and it was very good. I think it came from POR resort so if it closes, that might change.

Sassagoula Pizza Express doesn't deliver any more. Boo hoo. We liked that pizza.

call Flippers - their pizza is the best and they are close enough that they can probably deliver.

If you can not get a delivery, the Dixie Landing Food Court is close by just drive over, they have pizza, but it is not the best, but it is only a food court.

Dixie Landings is now called Port Orleans Riverside. We eat there a lot during our stays at OKW.

We ordered Papa Johns while we were at OKW two weeks ago.
They had no problem delivering it to our room.

It was pretty good pizza! I had never had Papa Johns pizza before.

Two large pies was a lot cheaper than eating in the parks.
Have Fun!

Thanks everyone. I didn't realize the delivery had stopped from Sassagoula...that is what I was trying to ask about. We have done carryout from Giordano's a number of times. Perhaps it is time to try their delivery. I haven't heard of Flipper's. Is it thin, thick or deep dish?

Dcligs--I am of course aware of the name change but I refuse to go along with it. It will always be Dixie Landings to me. I refuse to jump in on some of the things Disney does to solve problems, the combining of POR & DXL probably had some business reason, but I am sure it was that the buses were going to POR first then to Dixie may have had a lot to do with it. People would be less likely to complain if they thought it was just one big resort not two with one always getting the bus first. I for one buy a lot of food from Dixie myself, either there or the Gormet Pantry--OKW does not have much.

I love Giordanos! We have had it delivered and I have also picked it up. Yum :).

Your reasoning doesn't bother me but.......it might confuse some posters and lurkers when they read your post. So I always refer to it as Port Orleans Riverside.;)

ncligs--Riverside and French Quarter, I have the new names now but when I try to remember them, it does not always come to me. I stayed at Dixie Landings twice and Port Orleans once, it is difficult to call them something else. Talk about confusing someone, I drove right by Dixie(Riverside) the first time they changed the name, and it still took some doing not to drive by it another time. At any rate, we go there to have a drink at the lounge , plus I buy food to bring aback to OKW from their food court all the time. I don't like the other food court at POR or French Quarter, you have to pay before you get your food there. At least you did when I stayed there last.

We still call it Dixin Landings too. In fact we still have out mug from when we stayed there many years ago. We bring on every trip, it gets a chuckle in the food court line but they take it.

Anyway, we like to go there once every trip after a long day in the parks, the kids are tired and so am I. Everybody gets what they want, or we order a pizza for all of us.

Just wanted to vote for Giordano's pizza. Never had it delivered but plan to in July.:D
