Hi gang, we are going out in March 2009 and being the BIGGEST Tinkerbell fan in the entire Universe, can't wait to visit Pixie Hollow. Has anyone been to see the Fairies yet, and if so, how excited can I get - i.e. is it as good as I can imagine!!!

Hope the answer is yes.

Many thanks,

Love and lots of pixie dust

Astoundingly popular!
Very good reviews posted here (there are lots of threads about it, if you look for them.)

BUT, be aware...

Very slow, very long lines to wait to see the fairies.

MK opens at 9am.

Toontown (Pixie Hollow's location) does not open until 9:45am to 10am...
but some guests go directly to the Toontown rope when the MK gates open and wait all that time, just to be in line to see the fairies.

I saw the Fairies on Thursday. I loved Pixie Hollow and the Fairies. We didn't wait too long. The wait time posted was 60 minutes. We waited about 30. The line moved faster than I thought it would.

We visited with Tink, Iridessa, and Rosetta on Thursday night - 45 minute wait posted and that was about right. The reason the line moves so slowly is that the interaction time is pretty lengthy.

My DD9 really enjoyed it, so it was worth the wait!

Was there on Oct. 27 and the posted wait was 90 mins, I think we ended up waiting like 2 hours to see them. One of the other reasons besides the interaction is because they only take in 3 families at a time. When you go in you start off with one fairy and then after a couple of minutes you switch to another fairy till you see all 3.

We were there on Saturday night. Posted time was 45 min, got in in about 30. They only let 3 families in at a time when we were there. The CM at the rope was awesome - really in character explaining how we were becoming pixie sized, when baby pixies were born, stuff like that. There were Tink, Fawn and Silvermist for us, and our Photopass photographer followed us to all 3 fairies. Interaction was longer than most, and they were great! Enjoy:

It's Disney so I am sure it is worth the wait! In any case, we were in Toontown the day Tinkerbell and friends started accepting guests and the wait was posted as 90 minutes ALL DAY. We didn't end up waiting because DS3 wouldn't do well in a line that long but we plan to on our next visit. The good thing was the Princess line was just a 5 minute wait instead of the usual 45.:)

It was adorable, truly. My DD and I met Tink, Fawn and Silvermist. With only three families allowed in at a time, it makes it a truly special experience. I have some photos if you'd like to see them. :goodvibes

I just got back from a Disney weekend and was able to get all 5 of them in one day and I have GREAT pics and stories if you care to see!

PLEASE post!! I've been dying to see some pics and have only come across a small few. I would love to see yours!

Yes, please share Barbossa'sWench! Being a new attraction (and a new movie on DVD), I don't think we can have too much of these fairies.

Sure thing! I'm in the process of up-loading so I'll toss them up here. I went pretty much first thing in the morning and got Iridessa, Tink and Rosetta the first go around. This was this past Saturday. The atmosphere inside is so magical, no kidding. I have to admit I was speechless. The CM's are so good at making it feel even more magical, then when I walked in the first thing I saw was Iridessa and OMG she was gorgeous. They spent so much time with me even though I'm a "Big Kid" lol! They made so many comments over my hair {which is green and purple at the moment} and since I dress a bit gothy/emoish I must have reminded them of Vidia because they quickly decided I was a flying talent fairy, but much nicer than Vidia....lol! The wait was 90 minutes though and they weren't joking. I didn't have a problem being patient, but it was pretty rough on the small kids around me, so I occupied two of the little girls by taking out my autograph book and showing it to them and talking characters with them.

Here's a few shots of the decoration/atmosphere outside the room in the hallway and inside the room itself.

Iridessa. She was so sparkly and she came running over to me and had me follow her by "flying" over to her area. So cute. She was ridiculously gorgeous.

I so <3 this picture

Then she flew me over to meet Tink. You can see that I couldn't stop giggling and laughing and smiling. In the second pic Tink was guessing that I was a flying talent fairy. She was so beautiful and cute and sweet, and totally treated me just like a little kid...lol. She made a point of looking at my nails which were painted black and asking me if I had gotten them that way because I was painting spots on Ladybug's backs with Fawn.

Awwwwww!

And one more.

And then the lovely Rosetta who was breathtaking. She decided in addition to being a flying talent fairy I was also a garden talent fairy because of my hair and that I had "painted" it myself. She also had the cutest accent ever!

Enjoy! Silvermist, a different Tink and Fawn I will get up tomorrow!
