Pixie Dust Request

I started to post some of this on Facebook last night but realized that my Mom shouldn't hear this that way. She's on vacation, but visiting relatives I have on FB.

I had a kitchen accident last night. I slipped with a knife and lost a tiny bit of my pinky. I was in and out of shock most of the evening but was home from ER before 10. Carl & Siri did a great job of keeping me from hyperventilating or passing out. They distracted me with talk of Disney, and PCC 2.0. I even managed to listen to a bit of the podcast while I was waiting.

I am camping out on the couch today. I would apreciate positive thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone. I have slept a lot lately. I am beginning to feel like the cat who has been keeping me warm on the couch!

I am feeling a little better today. I got my tetnus shot in the same arm as the injury so that is a little sore - or I can feel it now.
My sister was talking to my parents so at least thet know now. But, DSis misunderstood my explanation of what happened and thought I lost the entire end of my finger, instead of just the corner so now she's pissed off at me - great. Drama. And I am not sure what she told my parents, but they haven't called so I think that is a good thing.

At the very least I am off work on Monday and have to go from there for the week. I need to be able to type accurately, fast and share the keyboard with others. On the upside, I think I can get back to sewing tomorrow...that should lift my spirits some. I am hoping to still do the sewing class I have next weekend.
