Ive just taken my little Jack Russell to the vets to be castrated, I know its only a minor op but Im still really worried in case something goes wrong.

So can I please have some PD for Jack. :wizard:

Here you go Jen, loads of pixie dust for Jack, hope all goes well:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Bless, I know how you must be feeling. I had my pup done when he was 8 months old. The vet also removed all his excess teeth that were bothering him and plucked his over hairy ears. Quite alot for a 8 month old pup to go through. He came round very quickly and when he came home he was very cuddly and sat on my lap for the whole night.

Hope Jack's operation goes well and he makes a speedy recovery:thumbsup2

Sending some:wizard: for Jack and some 's for you.

Weve also been through the same thing, we have a 4 year old Jack Russell :goodvibes

Hope everything goes fine, Im sure it will :grouphug:

Hope all is well and that Jack will be feeling better soon :)

Jack is back home, he is very sleepy and feeling sorry for himself!

Im not at all happy with the vet, when I dropped him off I requested that before he woke up they put a collar on him as always licks injuries, when I picked him up they had not done it and so they tried to do it then but he got very distressed and angry as he thought they were going to touch his sore area. The vet came out and picked him up by the scruff of his neck but he kept wiggling so he then held him by his ears! Poor Jack was crying and he was so distressed that he wet and pooed all over the floor, the vet said it didnt hurt him but it clearly did. Anyway I told him to stop and I will just have to try and stop him from licking it.

OMG, poor Jack, at least his op went well and now he's home where he can get lots of love

I would've been heartbroken if a vet had done that to my dog

Jen that is absolutely disgusting, i am so appalled. get onto another vets and ask them if picking a dog up by the scruff of the neck or even ears hurts the dog, by their response to this i would if it were me ,put in a formal complaint to your vets, please don't let this drop:hug:

Get Well Soon Jack :dogdance:

I hope you complain to the vets Jen, terrible behaviour :(

Thanks for all the nice messages. I am going to complain about the vet and I will definately be changing vet as well. :sad2:
