We just put an offer on our 'dream' house! :yay:

It's a little less than the asking price but we're hoping they will say yes (probably could go up to full asking price if needed). We're first time buyers so we don't have a chain as we're currently renting - hoping that will work in our favour. Not sure whether to feel excited or stressed?! Any helpful thoughts much appreciated! :goodvibes

Thanks all :grouphug: just an update with some good news and some bad news...

The bad news is they rejected our first offer :( but the good news is we offered full asking after they declined, and they accepted!!! :yay:

Just arranging a solicitor to start things moving now! :cheer2:

Congratulations!

I'm sorry they rejected your first offer, but so pleased it all worked out in the end.

Good luck with your new home :goodvibes xx

Try to get it sorted before March 25th and you won't have to pay stamp duty.

Ooh yeah, that's the plan Claire! :thumbsup2 Hopefully it will go through quite quickly as we don't have a chain and neither do they as they're moving to their home abroad :goodvibes
