Oh Sue that's awful! One of my dogs is completely deaf and has no road sense whatsoever so I can understand how desperate you must feel. Fingers crossed he turns up safe and sound...
How about if you buy some dog biscuits and rattle them up and down the road, You never know he still might be out there, So if he is he would want some food.
So sorry to hear this, you must be worried out of your mind. I hope that Spike turns up safe and sound, don't give up hope, there are a lot of kind people about so someone may have taken pity on him and given him a temporary home over the hols.
Sue I was out most of yesterday, so only just seen your post, you have every right to feel upset, I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you loads of big hugs and pixie dust that he comes home safe and well today xxxx
Thank you so much for letting me express my real sadness about this on here I know it must sound so silly, but its the thought that he may be laying injured somewhere that is tearing me apart.
No news so far today, we have been to the dog's home and dropped off some photos and we have just returned from the local PDSA and another tour of all the lanes around where we live. Vicki and I are both working today so our time to look is limited. However we will have another go this evening just in case.
Vicki said to me just now "Mum I bet he is sat in front of a roaring fire, licking his lips after just eating a pile of leftover turkey from some kind person who has taken him in".....and I so hope she is right.
Sue have been worried for you all day. Sounds as though someone has taken him in and it has just taken longer to get in touch because of the holidays. Fingers crossed you get him back ASAP.
