I hope that you are not obsessive like I am. Back when we were buying resale contracts I was constantly checking listings. Silly! But then there is that rush when a good contract comes along... Good luck!

Thank you! I do check each day to see if something pops up but I know what you mean. At least now, when I see it, I don't have to wait to talk to DH about it. I can just call and make the offer!!!

Thanks for letting us live vicariously through you... that's what so great about being a DVC Member on these boards, we can all relate! We purchased our 2nd resale contract at a different resort and a different UY because the price was so darn good. So far it seems like it will all work out well.

I too am a BTL owner and a huge fan but I stayed at BCV this spring and also loved that
location but I had already purchased the second BLT contract ,so I will have to always hope for the 7 month mark for those split stays -

Well, its back to the drawing board and watching. Found out the one contract I put an offer on was already sold--original broker never took it off website (still there last night too!).

But, they all know what I am looking for so at some point, things will happen. I am still just excited to know that I am in the mix!!!!

Did you sign up for advance notice? I recently signed up with the TSS and they send out the newest listings before it reaches the website. Not sure about the others though. I tried with the mom and sons website but they never sent me anything. Good luck!

Yes, I get the daily updates. I have another plan that I am working on and if I can convince DH about that one, things could move faster--he probably wishes that school wasn't ending next week--too much time on my hands!

I'm still waiting for closing paperwork on mine. It's been 3 weeks now since we passed ROFR....I called and they said it should be this week...but I'm so sick of waiting.

Here is the update (hold on to your Mickey Ears!!!).

We put in an offer for a 150 point contract and our offer was countered, but we accepted. Just waiting on the paperwork to sign and send off to ROFR. It is 150 BWV, Dec UY, all points starting in 2011. Buyer pays closing, but seller pays 2011 MF's. $55/ppt.

The deal with DH was that I could buy 100 points. If I went for a bigger contract, I had to put my small point BLT up for sale so that we ended up close to the total amount he was willing to spend.

And, that is what I did! So excited. If this passes, we will have 180 BLT and 150 BWV. Different UY's, but with contracts that big, things will work out great!!

I think it will clear too since some have cleared for less. Now that it is officially sent for ROFR, I can't wait!

That's great news!! We're hoping to do the same thing in a couple months. We were going to add on at BCV for 50 or 100 points, but if we can get 150 points at BWV for the same price we would have paid for only 100 points at BCV then that's the way we're going to go. We're going to wait it out though until we can find the right price with the right UY. There are some tremendous deals being cut for BWV right now!
